Take care of our boy, will for sure root for you and watch plenty of games this season of Newcastle :( Just sucks, he was really going to become a club legend but when its all said and done I believe both teams are better off. With the money we've been able to sign and close in on multiple players which I believe will help us become better than just one single player ever could. But fuck me, losing Tonali is more than just losing a quality player :( I know one day he will come back to us though

When it comes to wins where the other team scores, I prefer equalisers over consolations as consolations to me feel like the winning team rested on their lead rather than played the full 90 minutes. Great goals though.

Hearts have even now started to do it😕 I loved it when 3thousand Rangers and Celtic fans got the full stand it made the atmosphere more intense and I just feel as the 3 biggest clubs in Scotland ( Hearts being a solid 3rd) that we should be leading by example not risk losing that intenseness that makes certain matches that bit extra special. Thanks for coming up to Glasgow! We looked unbelievably rusty and shaky at the back, however it was our first proper pre season game and we're still missing quite a few first team players, so it's probably to be expected! 1st friendly so can't expect too much, we were down 0-2 against Gateshead on our first last week. watched with mate at work who is Rangers. Because of him and other Scottish work mates (im in the US too), Rangers is my 2nd team. Gers supporters are as passionate like no other. Young YFeko looks to be great future for Rangers.

Was at the game .Enjoyed a few beers with your fans in the Louden Tavern .Always welcome in Glasgow. Hope yous do good in the Premiership 🎉

Tonali looks real good, makes it look easy and does everything with such precision...love the way he looks for the pass quickly never holding on to the ball for too long...Bruno G is good but towards the end of last season he started getting caught in possession because he was holding on to the ball for too long and opposition players were targeting this. Just a note on the winning goal, Isac gets the assist but what a ball from Burn !

Early signs that Tonali is gannin to be a belter and he will be adored here. HOWAY THE LADS!!! ⬛️⬜️⬛️⬜️⬛️

You can tell that Tonali is world class just from a few touches and passes, I'm a neutral Madrid fan but I hope he has a great season with the Toon.

Tonali,Anderson,Ashby, Botman, Schar, Trippier, 🤣ok everybody in the first half played really well lads looking very fit,Gordon played well in the second half definitely a fit Gordon compared to last season when some fans got on his back because of his lack of fitness but the lad had been injured and Their is being fit and Howe fit and now he’s on equal terms with the squad and I expect a good season for so many of our players they play with real heart and determination it’s absolutely fantastic to see, thank you Mr Howe and his coaching staff absolutely outstanding work 👏👏👏🖤🤍🖤🤍

Brunos job is to be press resistant and progress play from deep, Tonali is diffrerent he controls games by ball carrying himself or spraying sharp passes around in the opponents half tho maintain possession, which isn’t as risking as recieving bf the ball from your centrebacks or goal keeper

Good to see some of the new players getting their first game time in. At least there are a few more games for them to get to know each other before start of the season. Sima looked promising, and goodbye mcgreggor. He was a great player for the club.

Never been this excited pre season, still all feels surreal

Firstly good luck this season Newcastle, your team are shaping up well. Toon support is awesome. Rangers still experimenting and in mid transition so we won’t see a proper Rangers for a few weeks yet. Significant absentees for Rangers and unfortunately due to money our stand ins are not as strong as the Toons. Great occasion for both sets of fans and so much mutual respect. Respect for the Geordies from Norn Iron Gers fans.

Great watching Newcastle playing in a packed Ibrox. Flags everywhere and both sets of fans making a noise. Toon fans are gonna appreciate European football this year, we've been without it for so long.

Firstly, not a great game for the football connoisseur, but in the end quality and class won the match. Newcastle are a very good team and with the addition of maybe another couple of quality players could possibly go better than 4th in the coming season. Movement and ball distribution from Newcastle was first class and have some exceptional players and a good strong squad, looked much fitter and sharper than my own team Rangers did, but we're only 2 weeks into our own pre season and still a lot of work to be done and new players integrated into the team. Last but not least, Having Glaswegians and Geordies in the same city on the same night is a pub owners dream, both love their bevvy and their football. Good luck to Newcastle in the coming season and hope you finish higher than last season, thank you for coming to Ibrox and your welcome back anytime.

Rangers fan....Great game, 3 points to make Almiron is a nuicence! Wide men always on the touchline making the pitch huge, may seem basic but sooo well done. AND LASTLY BRUNO WOW WOW WOW, BEST PLAYER I HAVE SEEN AT IBROX FOR YEARS hardly moves from bang centre but takes 3 players out with every touch and dictates the play.
