ARR introduced computer music in India first time. Roja, Gentleman and Thiruda Thiruda changed everything for Tamil music industry. Then his advent into Bollywood with Rangeela brought a new era which introduced a new phase and we still in that era.

Wow its been already 26 years but still this entire album. Each and every song speaks volume in terms of its music, signing, instruments & sound technology used etc . Simply outstanding and i am still hooked to this one Hats off ARR can’t get enough !

Rangeela was a realization for Bollywood that songs can be created with out dolak and violins

I was a young boy in mid-90s and I remember having an eargasm when I heard this soundtrack. Never knew our speakers had so much potential until then.

yes, this is very much true! same is the case with ‘duniya dilwalon ki’ songs. bought cassette for hello doctor; but songs like O meri jaan, jaari jaa ae hawaa, and jaanaa jaanaa grew to next higher levels!! AR Rehmaan-a maestro!
