I just bought the all in one torque kit from fix it sticks a couple weeks ago. Super impressed great piece of kit. Worked really nice for my new Unity Fast mounts.

I keep one of the AR specific Fixit Sticks kits in my range bag. Its awesome. Super high value tool. I plan on getting one of their big kits and then adding some stuff to supplement it on top of the AR specific kit. Should take care of 90% of the issues you'd run into at the range.

I added small bottle of lube to mine. Somehow I forget it sometimes in my range bag but always have the fix-it kit.

Great video! Fix It Stix are fantastic, but if it’s in the budget you might also want to get a dedicated set of tools for your work bench. It’s nice to have full size tools, and this way you’re not wearing out your kit or accidentally leaving that critical piece at home.

Great video, overall! But, using torx on Allen key bolt head is not recommended since the fragile torx tips can break off. Also T9 doesn’t match with SAE Allen key fitting. But, does work with 2.5mm

@@KineticConsulting yep! May not be as much of an issue with lower torque rating But, that depend on the quality of the bit.

@@KineticConsulting sorry. I was wondering if you typically carry a small adjustable torque wrench so you can torque bolts to spec. In my limited experience, manufacturers expect a variety of torque for different parts.

It depends. Is it good for attracting metal shavings in a gunsmith setting? No. Is it good for not losing your only scope ring nut 8 hours away from your spare at a $1,000 class? Yes.
