100%, the new one is more of a luxury car than utility vehicle. The beauty of L322 was that it was a utilitarian SUV yet it was extremely luxurious inside (especially the 2010+ models), not luxurious like an S-Class or 7 Series in the way the current gen RR is, but luxurious in a way that no other car to this day (other than G-Wagen) could replicate, a rugged yet elegant form of luxury....

I think the pre-facelift version of this gen looks even better, though. Much more dignified.

I agree. The current one doesn't look rugged, dignified or as brutish as the L322. The new one looks curvy, feminine and it just doesn't have the power or the presence of the L322.

I am German... and if i have the Money.... i buy it... much better than the BMW or the other SUV´s on the Planet... MORE STYLE!!!! YEAH....

I have 4.4 v8 BMW engine range rover vogue.....on prins lpg...30 quids worth of lpg takes me over 200 miles...no loss of power...you don't realise that you are on lpg.... .

Well my dad has a LPG BMW v8 one (2003) and its defo way slower

I’m never gonna say on my deathbed. I’m glad I got the diesel over the 500HP supercharged petrol am I. Just fill up ⛽️

ikr it pisses me off what Clarkson is saying. You only live once literally ENJOY life. Not to mention that Clarkson being stinking rich should have no problem running the supercharged version, so why the hell did he get the 3.6 diesel? Idiotic.

@@idreeskhan8885 i think he meant the 4.4 tdv8 more torque and 0-60 7.5 seconds...still pretyy fast and impressive but returns 35mpg

All Jeremy's bmw reviews are against bmw cars, never in bmw's favor... He never has anything to say good about bmw.

Apart from the 530d, the 535d, the M2, the M3, the M5, the M6, the i8... You haven't watched many episodes have you? BMW make good performance cars, but their normal cars are a complete waste of money. There is no point buying one with anything less than a 3 litre engine, same with Audi and Mercedes. It will just be an unreliable money pit.

Maybe perhaps thats because there is there isnt anything good to say about BMW, and their non german rivals tend to make better cars.

Yeapp. He make fun of even a good car (bentley). But if he like something from something he didn't like to begin with, the car certainly can't make him sleep.

by far the worst season ever. Whats wrong with Top Gear being against a big heavy V8? thats just not their style..
