I met Deanna Casey while asking random people to sing right outside of CitiField during the 2021 Governer's Ball music festival in New York City! At first she was very nervous, but then she said she was glad she did it! This happens to most people who I encounter, even some of the professionals!
As a musician, I'm all about creating musical experiences that have people feeling happy and free, and that's why the "Sing With Me" series exists. Since 2018, I have asked thousands of random people to sing with me on camera. A lot of people have said no, some have said no initially but changed their minds to yes, and some have said yes right away. I ask these people to sing with one purpose: to create a way for them to experience a sense of happiness and freedom they did not feel before. And much of the time, this actually works (and that makes ME happy).

Heykelly; once you sing something professionally enough, you never forget it. Maybe not the words, but the key, the style and the voice inflections come back to you just like riding a bicycle. I started singing again in a band after not singing for 37 years. The recall is amazing.

Exactly true. The ratio of great singers in the world to great singers the world has heard is probably more than 100 thousand to 1. This is why I love to search for undiscovered talent. It's a never ending joy, and this channel is the best for that.

Deanna proved Reggie’s concept... She said she was nervous and you should always be in the right mindset... being in the right mindset 100% of the time is unrealistic for anyone, but singing brought her joy and got her back into the right mindset!!! That’s going from out of alignment straight into alignment! Beautiful! Music is healing! Reggie is doing God’s work by uplifting and healing others through music!!! So thankful for Reggie, his project and all the people who are brave enough to participate!!! Sending loving energy everyone’s way! Namaste y’all!

The copyright algorithm prevents professional performances to be aired without permission, so the editor had cut the video. That's why only the impro made it
This is gold. Your pleasant persistence made her come back and it payed off with some gorgeous scatting. I appreciate the time it must of taken to do all the editing to display each note she was scatting. Not only that, the long list of songs you gave her to choose from is extremely impressive. That is some memory you have and I don't know how you do it.
I love how her face lit up after she found a song she likes. You were right, it did change her life :)

Good thing about this channel, Exploring the talent, makes people coming out of inferiority complex. And the Anchor/Musician is very encouraging and let people come and sing. 👏❤️ And I like the way you approach the people.

Man that was so good. I'm glad you were so persistent when they were so hesitant. We would have never experienced this beauty singing that good if you didn't.

She has a beautiful voice! So clear and effortless.
I am not very much of going around this kind of stuff on internet. But since l started watching Reggie's "public service" l've watched as many as possible and l definitely love it! She asked what key! Knew she had chops, not warmed up, but sweet and crisp. Scatting is the hardest part of the song and she had an arrangement in her head!🌹

I have a very small shop in which 2 or 3 customers fill the place and often when they are waiting their turn for help, they will hum or sing along quietly with the music that's playing. It is wonderful because the freedom they give themselves to tune to the musical vibration and the lack of anything required from them or absence of anything to be received by their response/ their action moves me to delight, joy, appreciation, anticipation, openness to possibility. I love that you are that spark too!
