    @@briansfishtanks at the moment Jag's , Albino Blood Red Oscars , a few other random community tanks and a large stupidly aggressive Buttikoferi but i have 15x 5 foot tanks and 2x 8 footers waiting to go in to my new fishroom when i've finished the painting and wiring

    Well, the fry hovering mid water towards the surface is something i have never seen because they are usually around the substrate area. Very interesting behaviour

    @@briansfishtanks zero presently, have been out of it for past 3 years but currently shopping different places for tanks.. Would like to eventually get a MBU puffer tank and and either a fh, dovii, or pike for starters. Guess it all depends on how much the wife will tolerate lol Do have any pike? And you keep dovii currently don't you? Thought I remember seeing fry just not the parents..

    And most will completely depend on tank size, really bothers me when I see people keeping MBU's in tanks with other similar sized fish

    the trimac fry behaviour is really interesting. it's probably wrong, but i do have a guess about what might be causing that. the trimac's mouth is slightly upturned compared to other amphilophus species and other central american cichlids in general for that matter. it makes me wonder if trimacs prefer feeding off the surface slightly more than their relatives? just a quick theory. like i say, i doubt it's right. but just sharing my thoughts! thanks as always for the update video--great to see the trimacs with their fry especially.

    They are part of an old sewer system from what i understand. I've heard they no longer make them.
