I think the Malians were actually perfectly suited to win that game Turin. If you had built the festival landmark. In order to take that middle sacred site you do the same thing you did the first landing. You pretty much cut right through the deli army there. The only thing stopping you and the French were those keeps. The Malians just so happen to have something that destroys keeps in seconds. The festival that increases siege damage. If you had dropped off even just 4 bombards and then popped the siege festival then targeted each keep one by one. I think you could have destroyed all 4/5 in 30 seconds. That’s how powerful that Malian siege festival is. You were the perfect civilization to have won that game. Those festivals when used right are game changers.

I'm guessing there's no way to watch that stalemate game that lasts forever? I would be interested to check it out.

Whoever is there first determines if it counts down or not. If the owner was on the point first and an enemy sends troops to the point second it will keep counting down. Turin was there second and did not kill the last unit so the count continued.

And that one last unit had like 1 HP left the last second and turin clicked somewhere so his armies stopped attacking the unit and moved :D hahahaha

It seems that you usually miss garrisoning some cattle most games. You build the cows but they don't get garrisoned.

That ranked game got real sweaty. It's weird that malians get a clear weakness (units with less hp) while the english get only goodies. Maybe some unconscious bias from the devs lol.

yeah. looking at stats all civs are around %50 winrate except malians. English is actually not that different. So far only problem is malians. They need a big buff

Ugh i hate when there a players like Pyro in the last match. Dude, it’s an FFA, play to win stop trying to make it a team game. I get making temporary alliances when it’s beneficial, the politics can be entertaining, but literally coming to someone’s aid at the very beginning and then allowing that player to build *inside* your base for absolutely no benefit is too much. Uravity was literally one of the best players in that final match, not saying he should be immediately targeted, but why would you rush across the map to save him and allow him to build in your base, if the two of you *do* happen to make it to the end he’s just gonna crush you…

No he was fine. Helping people makes them want to help you. Maybe not in the very end in a 1v1 but that rarely happens anyway.
