being kind nowadays is often mistaken for flirtation or considered weird
@TheGonzaloMagic
10 жыл бұрын
It may be considered flirting, but will never be considered weird. People like kindness directed towards them. for example, who doesnt like a shop assistant who is super friendly? it makes you smile, it betters your mood when you pass through people like that. And you can do it to. its simple, and it will make you feel good. In the flirting part, girls can tell after a few talks with you what are your real intentions, or even in first contact. A honest smile and positive atittude is very different from a flirty one.

Uem Z fkdjdjkddjdjdkk something that made me so aggravated was that some guy kept smiling at my friend and so she thinks it's him being creepy, stalkerish, and weird when it was just him trying to be nice Sorry had to get that out how people just don't accept the fact that people can just be nice ok peace and blessings everyone

5 years ago? it might still be like that till this day but i don't really talk to people or even go out for a matter pf fact so idk.
When I was on crutches, a homeless guy helped me across the street. I decided to buy lunch at the store deli for him, but when I went outside, he was gone!

That means you have a big, warm heart.
I've always wanted to buy a homeless person lunch. Never had the balls to though which is silly because they would most likely appreciate it. I guess no matter who it is, theres always that fear of being rejected.

I hate how many times I've given homeless people food or cigarettes and they don't say thank you and end up asking for 20 dollars.

Hi
A decade ago after just getting my income tax, I had over a grand in cash in my wallet. I left it like a dummy in a mall bathroom stall. An elderly couple had found it and left their # w/ mall security (they were uncomfortable leaving it with a stranger). I called them and they drove 20+ mins in a snow storm to meet me halfway. Every penny was accounted for& they refused my reward money. They’d even found a phone list in my wallet and called a few of my contacts to tell them they had my wallet. Over ten years later and I’ve never forgotten that. Kindness truly goes a long way. This couple restored my faith in humanity ❤️

Veronica Christopher WOW! Great story!
Okay I'd be awkward as hell when it comes to doing these things.
Can you guys understand how nice would it be if every human being acted like this everyday? 😢

We have it in us to love but it starts with you wanting it to spread the word. You are a shining light of hope. We learn your love you have.
Kindness Grattitude and all that stuff, I rarely see it anymore... Everyone's looking down on their phone.... I just wish that we could at least look up and communicate more with people and be kinder and be happier in general at the same time spreading it..
Watching The Science of Happiness makes my day so much better. It's an inspiration to go out there and do something great. That feeling you get most of the time, seeing all the bad things in the world, when you are ashamed of humanity... That goes away when you watch this. Thank You SoulPancake!
I used to help people all the time and I was really happy at that time, now I really don't help that much and not really happy, I will change this as giving did make me more happier
I cry tears of joy every video I watch from you guys. Thank you for sharing these inspirational videos +SoulPancake!!
This is a really good video about just being kind. One thing people forget is that they can be nice without needing to get something in return. Or that it doesn't have to be something big like helping out at a soup kitchen (though you should still do that if you can). Being kind can simply be helping an old person at the store lift their heavier items onto the register or telling someone they look nice. That's all it takes and if everyone did a few kinds acts a day then the world would be a lot less jaded.
I cried in 6th rows of your videos guys...
I should really do this more... call someone and tell them im proud of them and why they're so great and give food to the homeless!

I will forever support the mission of Soul Pancake. It doesn't matter what mood I'm in, I'm always 10 times happier and more inspired every time I watch your videos. The Science of Happiness is one of my particular favorites. After watching this, I felt the absolute need to continue on the chain of kindness. Thank you for inspiring me to live for something greater than myself.
Man, iI'm so glad I stumbled, accidently, to these episodes. You guys ARE making a difference. Time to feel great by expressing gratitude....Thanks Soul Pancake!! wait for it....wait for it....yep! it works!!
Stop making me cry!
You guys produce some of the best content on the internet. I always walk away feeling encouraged and inspired. Keep up the good work!!!!
I am so in love with SoulPancake. Thank you for sharing happiness and inspiring kindness.
I think the guys who got 40 for the tip thought they made a mistake, that's why they were so eager to wrap up the interaction (and why that guy whispered it)

I teared up when they made the phone calls. SoulPancake, you motivate me everyday to be a better person.
Videos from you guys make my day whenever I see a new video in my subscription box, so thank you for making me smile and bringing such awesome content onto youtube!
I just love this series so much. Amazing.
Soul Pankake never fails to make me cry, love this channel
Once this guy came up to my wife and I when we were leaving a take a way place and he said "Are those your kids"... ME (in my mind): 'Oh no, what did thy do this time' "Ahhh yep" HIM: "I just wanted to say that your kids were really nice to my kids and really well behaved" ME: "You mean those ones" pointing at mine, HIM: "yep" ME: "Ahh thanks" Almost the proudest Dad moment of my life, you know apart from them being born.
Thank you, Lexi!
when I watch these videos my face is just glowing with joy and smiles! it makes me happy knowing all people aren't heartless!
Great username and great comments! You guys rock. Thanks for the support! : )
I really love watching these videos you post of people just connecting with each other. You guys are doing a great job in the community and it all brightens up my day and motivates me to also go out there and just show some genuine love. please keep up the good works! :-)
I really love this channel. Thanks for the motivation to live happier, and kinder.
I'm so much in love with such kind of videos. I look at people who are not afraid to express their kindness and it makes me belive in humanity. And it makes me think about going out of my own shell, because i feel there's a veil on my heart that prevents me from expressing love and kindness properly. And all I wanna do is to feel connected to people again. Thank you, SoulPancake, for showing me that it's posssible. =)
When we seek to serve someone in need not expecting them to ever be able to repay us has a way of connecting people. Connecting with someone even in a small way is amazing.
I love this kind of videos, it encourages me to be a better and more happier person :). thank you SoulPancake!
You are my hero. Just because you made the simplest best username I've ever seen and use this awesome power to be kind to people.
I love this series so much! :)
SoulPancake never ceases to amaze me.

I want to be friends with this guy, he seems funny, smart, nice. I don't have friends like that.
I love this little series of videos. They make me so happy and almost bring tears to my eyes every time. I really like seeing the results at the end too, but it makes me wonder if there are ever any decreases in happiness? Doubtful, but I'm curious to know.
This is so inspiring! Thank you.
As a scientist I find these very amazing and educational..Keep up the good work ! :)
Im crying😢💔. I wish I had someone like this in my life.
I like your videos so much!
This woman had her child in her arms and the little girl dropped her pink little unicorn that was one of those eyeball pop things where u squeeze it and the eyeballs pop out of the character . anyways they were leaving papa J's (pizza place) and the little girl dropped her doll as they were herding to their truck. Then the women opened the door to the vehicle and put the little girl inside. (The girl was about 2 and didn't know how to speak just quite yet) So I walk to the toy pick it up and say "ma'am, is this your children's toy?" I said to her and she said back in a nice voice"Yes, Thank you". The whole time my family didn't know what I was doing when I stopped and turned around. Basically, do a nice jester when possible.
Love these (: They make me happy just watching
I swear every time I watch one of these I have the feeling to run out of my house and just help everyone!

it so rare to compliment people nowadays especially strangers and because it is so rare some sounded a little sarcastic when they were complimenting, obviously they werent but sarcasm it a lot more common than politeness
YOU ARE MY FAVORITE KZread CHANNEL BLESS YOU I LOVE YOU 😄☀️🙏🏽❤️
I'm surpised how different it is to here.
Thank you for a wonderful video 😊
Pure acting !!!
how come you always, always, aways makeme cry?! and i don't even know why!
So glad you don't mind us taking ideas from this episode! Could you share a link to where we could take the happiness test and do these experiments ourselves?
Once I worked as a cashier in a gift store, a man comes to pay for 3 Easter baskets, he started telling me, he had been in jail for 20years, and he was super excited to be FREE! And wanted to show the world, Kindness!! he was so happy, I watched carefully, hoping wth all my heart that ppl wuld NOT Abe mean to him. Each one of the persons he tried to give the basket to, they completely rejected him and got so mad, they thought he was crazy, and all he said was... Hello good person, I am so happy to be alive and I just want to give you this Easter basket so you can have a great day... they cursed and were very mean to him. I had to step out and tell those ppl off!!! But sadly, when a random stranger wants to do something great, ppl get so scared, ppl are so not used to kindness.. But I Hope Gratitude WINS!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I cried.
all good things come to an end
That's a great idea! If I were to do it, I would definitely plan the acts, otherwise I'd forget how many I'd done!
There are only 3 words for this awesome, awesome, awesome
Just the profound dignity in valuing another human being....
This is so sweet! :D
Oh my gosh at the part when they were calling there family I started tearing up and I'm not a very sensitive person!
I wish I could see what the questions on the survey were.
I just called two friends of mine, before I could say anything I started crying, I don't even know why! I guess I was just overwhelmed. But it felt really good.:)
Love this ❤️
I think sometime happiness just come from do something so simple to anybody, especially priorities your family member first ^_^
Love stuff like this! In the future I hope I have the money to leave people huge tips like that.

Aliya Pinkney You could buy someone's meal eating alone at a restaurant. I've done that and had the waitress just tell them that someone wanted to brighten their day. Kindness doesn't have to be expensive. Though we know servers work hard for they money so throwing them extra is nice too. :)
... just when I thought I made it through a SoulPancake video without crying
Very Very Very nice!!
julian is so adorable :)
