Randall Model 4-7, "Big Game and Skinner" A knife has found a new home
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Randall knives have become a favorite of mine since I first became aware of them in 2023. Their military heritage and attention to detail have spawned tributes to their design throughout the industry. That leads us to the model 4-7F Big Game & Skinner. As I was perusing the usual suspects, Ebay and Arizona Custom Knives I came upon the Big Game & Skinner. What I found was in the 6in blade length. My other Randalls tend toward the 7in range and as I ran the gauntlet of dealers I couldn't find what I wanted so I continued the search. I almost gave up the search to purchase a 6, ebay was very high, Arizona was more reasonable but in my mind it was settling. Then I came upon a post in nifeboy.com. It was exactly what I wanted at a very reasonable price. Please look them up.

Completely agree
Love Randall knives. Now that I live in a home-on-wheels I don’t have room nor the available weight capacity left to allow for an arms collection. Having said that, I can enjoy collecting vicariously through folks like you; although, I would make reom for a MOC CQB by Dieter) Having a knife day!!
Beautiful #1. I have a sambar stag 12-8 and 3-6. They work great field dressing big game.
Great knives and knife cat😂

They are a fantastic line of knives with a rich history.
My experience, the double hilt doesn’t work as well as a single hilt field dressing deer and wild hogs.
I have the 4-6 with the stacked leather, circa early 1950’s.

Now that’s a cool bit of history for your hip. Do you wear it often?

@@haveaknifeday l just recently acquired it from a friend, he gave me a screaming deal on it. I will definitely be carrying it while out in the woods. Cannot carry it when I’m out and about in my state because of the blade length, so I carry a Glock. I live in a state where the lunatics run the asylum.

@longstrangetrip3535 understandable. I live in the people’s republic of California. Although I do get to wear a fixed blade open carry and as for lengths, it’s just another reason to not go into Los Angeles county.
Beautiful collection!

Remember, always keep crayons 🖍️ around your valuables. They will naturally go after them first and not go after your shiny valuables. Barracks rats 🐀 suck
