Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I made this review two or three years ago for my other channel "TheTacticalView" (but never posted it) so the prices are not current etc.

Randall does say, and is very clear that they use 440B stainless steel Since, 1954 but, didn't make it a option on every knife till the sixties! They done a small run of some super stainless steel for their non-forged fellet blade models But, every Forged blade is always 440b and never anything else! And 440b is a great steel! No, matter what some "know it all" says! Beautiful knife!

A good way to distinguish prices between cast-iron and forged iron is to look at rebuild kits for engines. Pistons that are forged cost much more than pistons that are cast. A lot of muscle cars in the 1960s had forged pistons and common sedans have cast pistons. The same way with crank shafts connecting rods, etc. etc. High-performance parts are forged and they are stronger than common cast parts.

I'll say one thing about you Kel. When you buy a knife, you buy the best! What a beautiful knife that is! Sorry you sold it, but glad to hear you have another on order. When I lived in Florida, Randall knives would show up in pawn shops from time to time (Crazy right?) and if you had cash, you could pick up a decent one at a reasonable price once in awhile. Good to see some of these kinds of videos from you again!

+SmokeRingsPipeDreams Kinda like me....I have a champagne taste on a beer budget LOL! You would love Florida Kel. Great warm weather....the best selection of cigars you could ever want, lots of beautiful women, NO STATE TAX, lots of shooting ranges, a government that stands up for gun freedoms and stand your ground laws.....I think by next winter I'll be moving back there!

Smokin' Briar No state income tax??? The only thing that bothers me about the south is I've heard they have lots of bugs there. Big ones. LOL I hate bugs. In montana we have little ones, but not big ones.

+SmokeRingsPipeDreams LOL! I've seen you beating the hell out of some pretty big bugs that have dive bombed you in some of your night time videos! Yes...No state tax....isn't that sweet? The bugs in florida aren't that bad except them damn palmetto bugs but they don't bother you any and you can spray for them to keep them away.Check out the "Tampa Humidor" online sometime. They have a full bar inside, leather chairs with end tables, free wi-fi and big screen TV's, and a walk in humidor the size of most full size homes! You would probably move in there ;-)

Smokin' Briar A former boss was from the south and his wife wasn't, but she visited there with him and regaled me with stories of some kind of flying bug that looked like a roach only it flew at you. They were supposedly two or three inches long. My family came from NC about a hundred years or more in a covered wagon, maybe that's why. LOL At least the grizzly bears here can be spoted at distance. Unlike the scorpions in desert states. I hear they come right into peoples homes. Yuck! I'm thinking someday I may move to vegas, but I don't know, tarantulas, and scorpions. Ahhhhhhhh! LOL

The sheath equipped with all Randall Made Knives are superior to whatever one may find commercially. At least for leather sheaths.

I agree, one of the reasons I switched out to a different sheath is because I hated to see the randall sheath get used or damaged.

listen mate, thanks for the review but I am a scholar and I want to teach you something cause I believe you're teacher too. Fixing your finger into a solid position is not called locking. Resting your thumb behind the brass guard is not locking your thumb. You would have to entirely stretch your thumb back to its maximum flexibility for it to be called locking. Thanks. shelby500man Yep, I did. If you look at my other channel (TheTacticalView) there is a video there where I cut myself really good right on camera. Randalls don't always come that sharp, so I thought I could get away with it, but that one was pretty sharp. LOL

KnightOfTheNight Yes, funny thing I was looking around the web last night and found a forum thread (not sure which site) that was about how rust resistant Randalls are and a lot of the randall owners say they resist rust very well. I've had randalls for over thirty years and I always get the "stainless" ones and I have never seen a spot of any kind.
