I saw the Ramones in Detroit in 1992 at the State Theater, Social Distortion opened.
By far, The Ramones were the best! I saw them live 3 times back in 90’s. Rest in Peace, y’all are very missed!!!
I love the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery! A must visit for anyone into graveyards 👍
I've been there many times and never knew they filmed the video there. Now I'll have to look for these locations. They also filmed scenes from the Dark Shadows movie there. I got to go inside one of the body vaults that was used as a mausoleum. It really is an awesome cemetery. So many famous people buried in there.
This was such a cool video. I saw the music video so many times as a kid. I'm so glad you guys went to the location. Rest in peace Joey, Johnny, and Dee Dee.

I saw the Ramones in concert in the early 1990's in Charlotte,NC with Skid Row playing just before they came on. The place went nuts when the Ramones started playing. It was an incredible experience to see them in concert. Great video,I really enjoyed your behind the scenes look of such a unique video that the Ramones did there. 💀
Lucky enough to see them in a small venue in Boston. The Orpheum theatre. It was so loud, that I had to go in the lobby for a bit because my chest was pounding from the speakers literally thumping into my heart.
My alltime favorite Ramones song! I loved The Ramones so much that my nickname was Ramona Strutt in high school, & my mom was furious at graduation that my principal refurred to me as that. 😂🕶 I dyed my hair black and had bangs. I was in love with Joey Ramone. Fast forward, my kid is also in love with Joey Ramone. 😂🕶

So glad you went back to Sleepy Hollow. Jessica mentioned once on a "Grimm up all night" show that Sleepy Hollow, NY was a favorite of hers. I agree! Fantastic historical cemetery.
Love Ramones so much! This tune has always been a favorite
I'd assumed the village had always been called Sleepy Hollow but researching the story just now I learned that it was called North Tarrytown until 1996 when the name was changed to Sleep Hollow. Great vid, thanks!
I’d never heard this song until the remake of the movie came out a few years ago. I’d named my son Gage (he’s grown up now) and I’ll play this in the car to wind him up or anytime he asks to go into a bookstore, I have to find a copy of the book and get his photo with it 😂 when my Gage was little we got to meet Miko Hughes at a convention and it was so sweet ❤
Great video, love you guys!! Awesome video by RAMONES. Pet Semetary the original movie scarred me when I saw it as a kid. Plus, it didn't help that there was a bad rain storm that night & we lost power in the house.
Such an amazing song and cool backstory. The Ramones have many memorable songs, but this song has always been special for me. Happy Halloween!

Michael grimm would you fulfill my suggestion by visiting the grave of john philip sousa please and you have a sweet special wife on youtube ♥️
I saw the Ramones that same year in 1989 in Nashville. It was an amazing show!
Probably the song ive listened to the most in my life. Can't get enough of it! My dad saw Ramones live with original lineup. I am just so jealous of that, the one band I really wanted to see was The Ramones live, now i never will be able too. It's kind of frustrating. I did however meet Marky Ramone when he played here. Awesome guy!
The Ramones singing "Pet Sematary" is the best thing about the original movie from 1989... Thank you for the "tour," Michael and Jessica!! So fun!!! And yes, Jessica is too freakin' cute!!! 😄🤩🖤💚💜🧡
I love jessica when she standing in as the tree lol to cute she is my favorite person she is just so goofy and silly and i love her
Pet Cemetery & Poison Heart are my favorite Ramones songs! Great video as always & Happy Halloween 🦇

Im not afraid of life is pretty amazing as well
Thanks for showing the locations of one of my favorite music videos from my all time favorite band, The Ramones. This song got me into the harder side of rock, so they were sure a gateway band. I saw them live on the 1996 Lollapalooza tour at the San Jose, California stop. It was quite a memorable show, and I recently found a fan-shot video of it on KZread. I remember I lost my watch in the pit and was almost crushed when my brother and I made our way to the front. We ended up maybe twelve feet or so from Johnny Ramone. It was so hot that day, the band took the stage without their trademark leather jackets. Before "Pet Semetery", Joey said, "I don't know about you, but d'ya feel the full moon, comin'? And, you don't know this, but beneath your feet lies the Pet Semetery!" CJ Ramone counted off 1-2-3-4, and they went into the song. I knew you two were fellow Ramones fans and it's cool hearing that you got a chance to see them, Michael. As always, Happy Halloween.
Man, I remember watching Pet Semetary as a kid and getting that song engrained into my developing brain. It was like the ultimate ear worm of my childhood. Funny thing is, I only knew it from the credits of the movie and didn't watch the video until 4 or 5 years ago.
Sing it Jessica 🎵 35 years and great line up shots along with interview with one who had the pleasure to be in the music video.
Best part of the video is Jessica's cute dance, she's adorable, you two are match made in heaven
I only got to see them once. Early 90's here in Sydney. It was January, so in our summer and it was stinking hot. It had also stormed that day so it was super humid. The sound was terrible, but the band were brilliant. What a privilege! Thank you Michael and Jessica for posting this. Being on the other side of the earth I'm mostly likely never going to see these things for myself so I appreciate your efforts!
Very cool, unexpected video! I love The Ramones! Very cool you were able to track down the gravedigger and interview him.
Was just singing this & Rock N roll high school on Saturday! Great video , you two are so rad.
Your channel is morphing into something spectacular!
Loving this road trip, you guys are cranking them out! Keep it up...
So cool to know it was Jan 89 cause I was born on the 2nd and I love this song dearly. Long live the Ramones
I remember the movie and this song. Great job on documenting and covering all the history of this music video. For another filming location you two should check out the filming locations for the Blues Brothers. If you're ever in Chicago that would be a great project to undertake.
I love seeing old cemeteries.
Thank you for this! I got to see them twice, and my brother and I were lucky enough to meet them after one of the shows. I miss the original four so much.
This is such a great song by an even greater band!
Very very cool!!! Jessica singing and playing the tree was fabulous!!!🙏🏽🎸🐈⬛🎃👍
Love you guys so much. I learn so much and live vicariously through you both and all the amazing places that you've been. Don't know if this is something that you would be interested in covering but The Lawson Family Christmas Day massacre in Pinnacle NC and Madison Dry Goods in Madison NC (both locations are connected to the Lawson Family) is something you may want to look into. I would be interested in your take of the story.
I love this song the video and I love this movie! I remember seeing it for the first time when I was 9 years old and instantly fell in love with the song and the Ramones! I bought all their albums because of Pet Semetery. What a time to be alive back those days 🤟 HH🎃👻👹☠️
This video is the best you've ever done. Michael you are a genius. I love you both ❤️✌️🏴
I've been watching videos of The Ramones since yesterday and I have to admit. Now I'm a fan. I've heard their music when I was a teenager and I guess I never really paid much attention to it. But now I like them. Thank you grimmlife for bringing them into my life
The Ramones achieved the status of rock n roll legends long ago, Pet semetary is awesome!!
I've always been a big fan of The Ramones. Thanks for the upload. I've always been curious were they filmed the famous music video. Pet Sematary is my all time favorite song by the legendary Ramones.
Excellent re-creation Jessica. I always love it when you’re in a video. ❤️

Beautiful Creepy Cemetery!Love Messias! 🦇🦇🦇💜
Very cool. Did not know their video was shot in Sleepy Hollow. Went to school in Tarrytown & remember visiting the cemetery. Big Rockefeller mausoleum I guess.
Wow! Thank you for this video! I really mean it, I'm a big fan of the Ramones and of grimmlifecollective too, of course! Greetings from Italy!
I love this! I live in New York! You should do one in sleepy hollow about the headless horseman. I heard they have a real cool village all about it! My dad has a pet cemetery at his house if the animals that passed away

You are in my neck of the woods! Love Sleepy Hollow! I live live about 25 min away and go there every Halloween! They have the most ornate headstones and some really famous people in history are buried there!!Great video as always, thanks for sharing!!😊
this is awesome, probably my favorite song by the Ramones and also one of my favorite movies, so to get to see the filming location and some info that I never knew, very cool, thanks again guys for freezing your butts off to provide us with the inside scoop!
Great song, Great movie, Great Video Grimm life!💯
Been watching the Grimms for about 4 years, BEST VIDEO yet!! Love the Grimmlife and LOVE the Ramones. Seen lots of Ramones filming locations but never one for the Pet Semetary video! So cool to have the guy who dug the grave in the video! Keep up the good work!
yall are so crazy recreating all the hot spots the band did!! I cant get enough of your videos!! I have to ask Michael which band member is your fav one? I love silverstein and parkway drive!!
Shivery cool! Spooky Sleepy Hollow! Wonderful!💜💜
So cool!! Ramones are one of my all time favorite bands!! Great video as always!!
Thanks for doing this gruesome video !!!! 🖤🖤🖤🖤 I was a teenager and I got to see the original lineup up close as well as when Marky came around. Dee Dee was the loudest man I ever heard! YAY! The 1970s!
What a treat. One of my favorite bands, one of my favorite songs, from one of my favorite movies! You guys are killer🔪
Thank you for sharing this! I’ve been a Ramones fan for a long time and this is one of my all time favorite songs and videos.
Awesome! The song that introduced me to the Ramones! Thanks Grimm Life!!!
This one's close to home for me...literally! Awesome vid guys
I was literally in sleepy hollow last week on my holiday from the UK, such a beautiful place and that cemetery is amazing!
😂ahahahahaha I'm dying watching Jessica dancing and singing. She's hilarious!
You’re one of my fave channels. Love what you and your partner do ❤
Another good one. I've seen the Ramones live three times (I'm old) and it's a bummer that they're all in graves now, except Marky. This video dispels the rumors I heard in high school that the video was shot in Wilson, NY which was only a few miles from where I grew up.
very nice episode. one of my favorites! love & respect from Brazil
Great video guys, interesting to see the locations of the video, such a beautiful cemetery.
I've seen them live over a dozen times and the exact thing Joey would say is " beneath this place lies the pet seminary" "1234". The only words that ever changed on stage were whoever Blitzkrieg Bop was being dedicated to and the name of the city that they acknowledge after second song, before Pet Sematary and in closing.

Except during the Loco LIVE tour. 😉 My favorite band, ever! Saw them every time they were in L.A. ❤️
Damn... small world... I’ve literally just got done listening to some Ramones ... We want the airways, I don’t want to grow up, etc.. and pet semetary ‘one of the best soundtrack songs.. ever’ and some old interviews with Joey.. 😳 Thanks very much for making this.. i honestly thought it was filmed on a set..
So cool!! One of my favorite music videos! Thanks for doing this!
I saw the Ramones at the HFStival in DC (1995) along with Tony Bennett (in a great lime green suit) and Primus! It was so amazing
Thank you two for the awesome content! Never miss a episode! Oh and I wanna be sedated is my jam!
Was fortunate enough to see the Ramones twice, both in 1996.
From Forest Hills, Queens. They played in my friends backyard kegger. Along with a band called, and you'll love this....Norman Bates and The Showerheads.
This was so cool❣️ Loved this behind the scenes upload. I liked the Ramones and how you matched everything to detail perfectly. Thank you ghouls 😈👻🎃
Oh my, Baby Ghoul cracks me up. Happy Halloween.
I LOVED that tune. I remember recording their appearance on the VCR when they played the song on Letterman too. On another note..I think I'm in love with Baby Ghoul.
Back in my neck of the woods! Loved when you guys came and filmed for the Headless Horseman! I live right by the Tappan Zee bridge and I grew up in the area. I hope you guys would come back - tons of history here. I walk/run through the Lyndhurst grounds every single day. Worth a trip if you haven’t been here in town. One of the best channels on KZread and a shining example of how to film in public! 🤘🏼🍻🍻
Great stuff thanks for sharing what a band they was I wonder if there spirits are there walking singing partying still 😀
Great vid. I live nearby in White Plains and my family and I hang in Sleepy Hollow all the time. My band even played this tune last Halloween.
The story in markys book about this day is awesome, him & Deedee experienced the paranormal lol
Paying homage to anything Pet Sematary is the best. Thanks for this!
You guys are amazing, authentic and spooky. One of the Nicest ghouls i've ever met.🎃
best song ever made i play it on repeat all the time
Excellent choice for a location!!! Love this song and have for many years!! Huge fan of this channel!! Thank you for everything you do GLC!! Love your work!!
Man, I was “too punk” to go see the Ramones when they were alive. What a missed opportunity! I’ve gotten over my arrogant and stupid adolescent self and really regret never seeing those legends play. Great video!!
I like how the Ramones walk through cemetery in video like I don't give a shit
I am lucky enough to have seen The Ramones.. & I’ve been to Sleepy Hollow Cemetery!!
The Ramones hung out at our house and Joey was good friends with my brother. They were older than me about 12 to 16 years but i remember well those days in Forest Hills. Joeys mom owned an art store or gallery and Joey was always getting in trouble for crashing in the basement drunk and his mom would get mad at him and i think Dee Dee. They, most people don't realize but they were not actually related and they all had different names before they formed the Ramones when i was about 11. A few years back they named the street outside our High School Ramones way and the apartments where they hung out still have the mural of them if you ever go by Forest Hills. My brother sometimes had to watch me and there was an ice cream parlor, which i think is actually still there called Eddies and my brother and Joey left me there once when i was about 8 to get high by the railroad tracks and the owner had to drive me home and the next day my father had a fit and said Joey wasn't allowed in the house anymore and then his mother said my brother couldn't hang out in the art store anymore i think it was called the art garden or something like that. Good times before Queens became an over crowded shhhhithole.
Oh yeah, I remember that time, I'd not long moved from my home town, it was back when MTV was still cool.
Great fun! Thanks guys! 💝
Awesome Work Bro, Thanks 👍😎 Greetings from Helsinki, Finland 🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸
Never grim when the grimms are about happy halloween 🎃
BTW, "Sleepy Hollow" was once known as "North Terry Town" . In fact, this is where Washington Irving is buried . This is the area he wrote about in his famous stories. However, a few years ago they changed their name to "Sleepy Hollow" to cash in on the tourist trade
Always the best documentation, travel & exploration, your cinematography Talent is fantastic
Love this song. I’m not sure I have ever seen the music video. If there are locations for this, would you be interested in doing the locations for Alice Cooper’s Man Behind the Mask? That’s one of my all time favorite music videos.
You two rocked this one...job well done 🤘
I’ve always said I want this song played at my funeral 🤘💀👍
Great video! Baby Ghoul's dance is the best!
WOW, you GriMMs are having the time!... Love the fact that you are exploring Sleepy Hollow (Man, I need to go there!), and to the actual cemetery where the Ramones Pet Cemetery was filmed (Loved that video) ...OOF... so good... As I understand it, Sleepy Hollow graves are among the oldest in the country---- so much Lichens on those field stones add that romantic feel. I'm glad the grave digger man is still around to tell the tale of said video shoot..... Thanks, again for another great, line-up the shot episode, and loved the old shot of the happy GriMM couple in front of the Tomb... Happy Halloween, GriMMs.... :^)""""""""""
Thank you so much for this video 🙏🏻🙌🏻🖤 I freakin love the Ramones , pet cemetery is by far my favourite by them , you guys travelling all over & making these awesome informative videos ahhh living the dream 🙌🏻🎃 happy Halloween love from the uk
