I met C.J. too! August of 2019 and my husband and I got All-Access passes thanks to his wife, whom I was getting to know on Facebook. CJ is REAL, kind, fun to talk to and he listened to us!... our every word. A real gentleman. Rare today.

Strange that so many lovers of classic rock hate the Ramones. The Ramones were just getting back to what rock was before bands like Zeppelin and Pink Floyd turned it into a huge production. I love Floyd and Zeppelin by the way, but I also like the Ramones and the Clash.

Yeah, I love a lot of different types of music, from Punk to Gregorian Chant, and though the Ramones are my favourite, I don't understand lack of interest or respect for them. Some people still see them as a cartoon flash-in -the-pan. Like, are they even giving them a chance? Their stuff varies in tempo and sound, yet it is pure rock n roll.

Plus, by the 80s the music from Led Zep and others (my heroes) had turned to flavorless,syntho-laced crap. The Ramones were one of the few in the 80s still laying down rock--true rock.

I saw them in Chicago with Social Distortion. I was so disappointed because I couldn’t tell one song from the other. It was just a blur of noise. Social Distortion was a far more enjoyable. I’m still glad I got to see The Ramones and I’ll forever love their stuff, but their show didn’t do it for me.

he apparently didn't want it to be titled "Bonzo Goes To Bitburg" because he thought it was disrespectful to Reagan, but they came up with a compromise by making the song's release title "My Brain Is Hanging Upside Down (Bonzo Goes To Bitburg)". and I think Dee Dee and Johnny would've been fine with making fun of Reagan if it was just been in reference to some dumb statement he made about SS soldiers in a cemetery (though in my opinion he deserved more than just that, but that's just me).

Yes, "Bonzo" is the name of an old movie franchise about a monkey that Reagan starred in back in the 50s. And Bitburg is an old Nazi cemetary that Reagan visited in the 80s and made a speech about how there were good people buried at that cemetary.
