So many bands lose something as they age. The passion and energy of youth fades, but Rammstein haven't lost a single thing, in fact they have gained so much to add to it.

I want to thank you for being one of the very few male reactor that didn't look shocked or horrified when they show the scenes of the women giving birth. I was already expecting to see a look of disgust or some comment on how they shouldn't show that. So thank you very much for being a mature adult man.

I’m a paramedic and have witnessed a number of live births. The way they depicted those scenes in this film was just unbelievable. It was so beautiful and poetic, it’s beyond words. This video has brought me to tears many times. I’m a huge metal fan, but Rammstein always brings a depth most bands, regardless of genre, bring and communicate. The poetic nature of their lyrics and how Till sings them is just on another level. I think this video and Deutschland are probably the most powerful music videos I’ve ever seen. Obviously they have different messages, but they’re storytelling is just unbelievable.

my favourite part of the video is the sand (time) flowing through the members. It shows how differently people perceive/fight time. Some are resisting, some are trying to stop it, some are embracing it, some are just stadning and let it flow.

Rammstein surpassed themselves with this one: stunning! Deep lyrics, great music and those visuals, super intriguing.

I think, as a German speaker, the English translation doesn't give credit to the lyrics. So deep, wonderful and yet so sad. This album is the best of Rammstein, of Till, I've ever listen to! Period! And I can't rank the songs, because they are ALL so intimating, true and beautiful saddened. I can't stop listen to them.

Indeed, both this and Angst are songs that stand well on their own but add an entirely new dimension with the video…

Masters of double meaning, getting better every decade. This is a timeless masterpiece as ever there was. Moving, haunting and confronting at the same time, a wake up call for all. Thanks for doing this review!

Rammstein is like an old wine, they get better and better. Intense, unique, creative, powerful. I appreciate them so much in a time where there is so much drivel around. Went to a concert of them last week, great, and its also spanning across all generations, (me 60+, and I was not the only one), one of the few bands that can do that.

I'm pretty sure these three "reapers" are bound to represent somr mythical entity that you find in greek , roman and nothern mythology. Also known as the Parques, three creatures running the destiny of men. In the greek version they are 3 old ladies spinning woolen tread representing birth and cuting it as mortal pass aways. These would be either a modern version or the Norn, the nothern version of it.

My interpretation and thought was time goes on like a continuous cycle and those rare occasions when we are truly happy of course we want time to stop. The showing of the sand and hourglass ⌛ time keeps going and them showing the scenes reversing to me meant a desire to go back in time either to the moment of birth and start our lives over or to before we're even born saying no i don't even want to be born i want to go back before i was even conscious of my own existence and mortality. Them being blindfolded to me was no one knows whats going to happen in the future we don't know what kind of lives these babies are going to have.

Another thing that came to my the babies being put back in to the mother to be born again on earth and also coming back in a sense they died on earth and are now being born in the other world and their birth or rebirth on earth is them already starting to die because as soon as your born your dying..your dying to live or as Rammstein put it "Wir sterben weiter bis wir leben" "We keep dying until we live" because in a sense what we perceive as dying is us actually being born again into the other world that's why the girl in the end seems happy when she dies because she knows that her death here means her being born over there..if that makes any Sense? The three black dressed women are the three Nornes. In the old german fore-christian mythology they represent the past, the present and the future. The Norne of the past is named Urd (the destiny). The Norne of the present is Verdandi (that what is now and what will be in the next moment). The Norne of the future is Skuld (that what will grow out of the past and the always changing moments). The Nornes spin the rope of life. They decide where the rope begins and where it ends. In Germany we still say „life hangs at a thin rope" when things are getting dangerous or somebody is really hurt or sick. The Nornes are no gods. They just represent the time of a life. People can't influence time and a lot of things that happens. The life of everyone is created by the Nornes what means by the time. And we all sitting in the same boat mightless in the sands of time. This is the credo of this song.
