Rammstein: Paris - Wollt Ihr Das Bett In Flammen Sehen? (Official Video) - Reaction

I had to Google Translate the title for this one: "Do you want to see the bed in flames?" The answer is "Yes!"
What a great track! I really enjoyed this one.

    One of their earliest songs from their first album.... This sound was so new in the 90's - it was kind of a rebellion of the punk scene from East Germany and I remember so many older people at that time that just didn't know what to do and think about this music... It was my youth and I am so thankfull of them being there at this time

    "Wollt ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen (for pronounciation: volt ear does bet in flammen say'en )" is the first song on the first album and it simply introduces the band to the audience and fans. The scream sound effect and reloading the weapon is from the video game "Doom" from the 90s.

    Yeah, I mentioned Doom in another video before I had any idea they borrowed some sounds from the game. It works for me! What a way to start their commercial music career. This song packs a punch! I really enjoyed it.

    @@xsezz This song is so iconic! And yeah, apparently it was the drummer's (Christoph Schneider) favorite game (actually his nickname is "Doom" because of that LOL) And i believe since the game was "modifiable", you could access to it's little archives and sounds from your computer, so i guess they took those sounds directly from the game and converted them into samples. EPIC.

    Some are trying to diminish Rammstein due to "simple music" and "cheap effects", often with reference to Nightwish and Babymetal. Let me ask you this: how many of you have fallen asleep before the two latter bands comes to the chorus?

  • @xsezz

    @xsezz

    I have yet to watch any of those groups but so far I don't see why anyone would try to diminish Rammstein like that. Their shows look so full of energy! Also, don't forget, the better you are the more haters you have.

    I mean, they're all great bands at the end of the day. The people who talk smack are just jealous they can't do what rammstein does so well, there's a reason why they're still so popular to this day.

    The militaristic feel to this is pretty wicked! Even though they're industrial metal, they incorporate a lot if EDM, hence you wanna dance. (ノ´ з `)ノ IDK if you've reacted to this but 'Haifisch' live is a fun one to react to.I can't remember which tour but it's got a surprise in it! It's about sharks. 🦈

    @@xsezz !!! and here´s a tipp if you really want to get into foreign languages a little: in your language, all vocals have two pronounciation possibilities: A is make as well as hard, E is he as well as let, I is tiger as well as live, O is to as well as lot and U is butter as well as flu. in languages like german, italian, spanish, latin, vocals have only 1 pronounciation. A is always as in hard, E is always let, I is always live, O is always lot and U is always flu. hence, rammstein is originally pronounced differently than native english speakers would assume.
