Yes I knew that, but he left Iran when he was very young and moved to Italy for a while until he moved to Canada where he pretty much grew up.

Yup. He's a Canadian citizen, grew up in the suburbs of Toronto. It's a running joke that I'm the outlier among my pals here in Toronto, because I was actually born in Canada. We come from all over the world, but we're all Canadians here in T.O., and we all get along somehow. They made a joke about it on The Simpsons once.

Ramin is too hilarious, it's actually brilliant! I practically cracked up when everyone's at a loss when he sang in 'Queen's French' :)) Aww, I wish I was among the crowd so that I can sing along with him...

Beiber is all auto tune. He's not a real singer at all. And the same goes for Britney Spears and Madonna. Neither can sing.

Proud that he’s Canadian but sad that he now lives in the UK.

Am I the only one, who always smile, when he smiles? xD Omg, he's so damn good and his french version is also good, wether i don't like french that much. But Ramin can take it easily! xD

I love his facial expressions :D And his voice, oh my, I can't even contain myself. He's the best, for sure.

I've never heard the lyrics that he sung at 2:46.. (even in the french version). And yes, I do speak french. (French speaking Canadians! Unite!)

I went to his saturday night performance....It left me speechless and in tears. I have never witnessed a better show.

This is brilliant! Should be part of every show.

I love when he smiles, is so cute

I adore the Battle Hymn of the Republic addition at the end, it was such a good fit

3:06 isn’t amazing how not everyone is a good singer... some are even bad. I would consider myself the latter. But when everyone sings together it sounds amazing!

I think Ramin can play just about any major Broadway musical role we know of--that's written for tenors, anyway--and totally OWN it...Phantom, Valjean, Marius, Enjolras...and I had NO clue he played the guitar...freakin' sweet. Question is...which BB King's venue is he playing here? Surely he's not at the one in NYC, since it likely got flooded when Hurricane Sandy came a-howling...

I’m amazed he can’t read music.

I must say I really do not like this song to be sung without its rebellious spirit, rallying the people to fight for freedom. You cannot sing "not" softly! Just makes the crowd look like a bunch of idiots without any ideals - probably because we never had to fight for it with our blood.

He has an awful french accent but a beautiful voice.
