I saw him in Les Mis on Broadway as well! Had to take a work trip to NYC and the moment I saw he was play Jean Val Jean I knew I had to see it!

He has a habit of making his voice go higher and sucking in air after holding a note and I don't know why I noticed it but it's all I can focus on when I hear him sing now

He uses a lot of compression in his voice for sustain and to make it sound more powerful, but it’s difficult to stop suddenly; so he overuses intentional voice cracks.

With a couple others from his Broadway run in Les Mis, I’m surprised you didn’t have that “on and on” bridge from Bring Him Home on here. That’s the one that always got me. Les Mis 25 was the first thing I ever saw him in. He was the first Enjolras I ever heard who made me consider topping Anthony Warlow on my favorites list. Ultimately, I decided they’re tied. I couldn’t replace Warlow, but I couldn’t keep Ramin off the top either.

@@ME-zr9rk she did, but for the first part when Christine wore white robe. They couldn't run upstairs as they were coming out on the boat afterwards so they both had body double. This part though, were them running from main stage up to the bridge.

It is SO rare to find a tenor/bass that can sing loud and clear enough to match a soprano let alone overpower a soprano vocally. Ramin is an idol, and we LOVE HIM

It amazes me when in interviews, Ramin is so humble. He's said himself that he has always loved singing, but never stopped to consider if people liked HEARING it. This man was made for musical theatre. Not only does he have the voice of a God, but his acting skills are out of this world and don't even get me started on how attractive he is.

And even if Ramin has been distasteful in his character at some point, I can't name a single person who hasn't. We all have our bad days, and while I'm not trying to defend any ill actions on his part, I think we all have room to try and be a little bit more understanding towards those who are put under so much pressure all the time. You and I have no more personal experiences with him being a rude person than with him being kind.

I know this is a very, very different take, but you should look up Anthony Warlow in that role as well. He was the original Australian in the role. He’s my personal favorite for both his nuance, and unbelievable power.

I've seen this guy perform in concert twice, and my god, he has the most POWERFUL voice you've ever heard. I seriously doubts he needs a mic, it's that strong. Chills. All over. Every time.

I've seen people complaining that Ramin pushes too much and tends to sing sharp.... And I'm sorry but I just don't hear that. He seems to always be on pitch to me, and everything sounds wonderfully supported and we'll performed. But maybe I'm just not a good enough musician to be able to tell

I bet if Ramin had changed his stage name to something like Jack Kamen, he would be a much, much bigger star than he is today. MUCH more vocally talented than Hugh Jackman and MUCH better looking. definitely a stronger actor than Hugh and many "uber famous" actors of today. This man has it all, but I bet his name alone is what has held him back. Sorry, but that's just the facts as I see it.
