In today's exciting episode, join Shizuka as she explores Tokyo alongside the esteemed ramen expert, Brian! Together, they discover the bustling streets of Tokyo on bicycles, enjoying the city's vibrant atmosphere, as well as stumbling upon fun individuals along the way.
At their first stop in Shimokitazawa, Shizuka is introduced to a delicious salt ramen, carefully crafted to be both satisfying and gentle on the palate. Filled with yummy ingredients, it offers a refreshing twist on traditional flavors that we are used to in a ramen.
Once on bikes, they cross Tokyo making their way to their final destination where there is a reward waiting for them: Niigata-inspired ramen, topped with a rich layer of savory fat. It is a must try for all ramen lovers and while some might be intimidated at first, the chef’s expertise ensures that the fat blends in with the broth seamlessly and enhances the depth of the flavors.
For those craving an unforgettable blend of culinary delights and urban exploration, this experience is for you! Book today on byFood.com!

Was the second shop on Fudo Dori, sort of behind Tokyo Opera City? Many, many years ago, I lived at the main entrance to Fudo Dori in that big orange condo/apartment complex. The place had a great view!
I think after that second dish a bike ride to Sapporo would be needed. Shizuka 8 years ago was stuck in the studio because she was too young to leave home alone.
bike riding around Tokyo looks like fun, and I love me some Ramen, the fatty one looks so goood

Hmm - I don’t know. Is the flavor of the back fat worth the ick factor?
He looks like Harold Ramis' cousin.

American food is known for being fattening. But that second bowl of ramen, is it good for you?
OMG i LUV fatty broth!!!

I ate Ramen once in my life in a Montréal restaurant, but I can't remember the name. It's definitely a mix between comfort food and luxury. The broth was insanely good and I need to go back to that place to eat some ramen.
