I personally watched Umbrella Academy without having read the Comics and I have to admit I got bored pretty quickly, so I haven't even finished it. As you said, due to the fact that so much stuff was happening simultaneously, I didn't quite got everything that happened. Thanks for the Video doe :D

I found the show REALLY boring early on. I actually had to force myself to finish it so I could properly formulate a rounded opinion on it. I highly recommend the comic, and also strongly recommend Doom Patrol.

In my opinion Doom Patrol is better, all that crazy 😂♥️ is incredible, The Umbrela academy did not enpolgue me. Anyway, both are good, I loved the cat. Great video ^^

I usually avoid lives action super hero shows since they don’t seem to capture the awesomeness of super heroes like cartoons do but maybe I’ll give doom patrol a shot. Also that Batman intro was perfect.

It really depends! I genuinely think Doom Patrol is doing the comic justice. Same with SyFy's Deadly Class. But, in general, Umbrella Academy would just be super tough to do right in live action. That comic is OVER THE TOP.

Doom Patrol is much better in my opinion. I think reason that Umbrella Academy is more popular with people is because it came out on a much more well known streaming service.

The Umbrella Academy as my friend put's it lacks "chemistry", note: I've only Titans, but from that show, seeing the Doom Patrol there, I can tell the actors have more chemistry than that of the entire UA. I still like UA, but it could have been so much more.

I actually super agree with that. Again, I think Klaus and Five are the best examples of where the chemistry worked. But seeing Vanya and Rumor together in a scene was always hard to wrap my head around. There's parts I think work, and a large chunk that didn't for me. But three episodes in, Doom Patrol has taken me.

Glad you showed up Kurt! lol. By the way, check out the Captain Marvel movieeeeee. Oh and what are your cats' names? I dont remember if you've ever introduced them properly anywhere. There's a vid idea for ya ;DD

Oh so someone else felt that wave of unmotivation this week??? Thank god, I'm not the only one (you're just stronger than all of us and I love it)- Although I haven't read Umbrella Academy, every feeling you described with it's Netflix series was exactly how I felt about the Series of Unfortunate Event show. I do plan on checking out UA on comixology one day

It was a tough week in the creative universe, supposedly. I generally have had a tough time with a lot of Netflix original shows. It probably says more about my lack of patience, but, so it goes. Also, you read Daytripper, so at least you'll be familiar with Gabriel Ba's art if you decide to get UA

i personally think it's rare to come across actually good television series :p i like watching stuff like Family Guy and all that kind of shit but it's really hard to come across anything new that's as enjoyable to watch to me...

I've always struggled with the structure and pacing of television shows. There's definitely a lot I love, but I could never be one of those avid tv watchers. I generally don't have the patience unless I love it from episode one.
