I'm glad I'm back to, even if just for a moment. Cribs Vol. 2, if it were to happen, will likely be a lot.... LOT shorter than vol. 1, since the apartment is, well, 2.5 times smaller. I'd like to show it soon. It'll be interesting to show how I've minimized everything.

Dang Kurt I just came from New York to California too. Followed my dreams of joining the military, went to basic training for 2 months, and now I’m training in Monterey. Funny coincidence haha. I’ve always enjoyed the style of your videos and the content. Can’t wait to see great things from you at gamespot, cheers.

So, though I don't know the area, or hadn't been here prior, it's been a dream. I haven't been to Oakland yet, but I'd like to (was initially looking to live out that way).

Still super happy for ya, dude-a-roo (it'll catch on some day). As someone recently looking to move from the Gulf Coast to the Northwest (Seattle) I absolutely empathize with you saying how much more rent is - before we were hit by Hurricane Michael, rent in and around Seattle was 2.5 to 3x the rates here, but after, it's 2x. Supply and demand after the loss of homes. Very glad you were able to move and very much hoping you don't have to go through the financial struggles. P S. Good job keeping it quiet until it was official. I'm sure it was hard not to be ecstatic in video about even just doing interviews with GS.

Thank you so so much. Having lived in Seattle too, I can definitely relate. Of course, my circumstances in SF now are much different than the time I spent in Seattle. I deeply appreciate the sentiment. Thankfully, for now, we're in a good spot. It was HARD not saying anything. I didn't even say anything to my friends or family. The only person who knew was Juliana. It was truly brutal, and weighed heavily on my life for those two, even three months (if I include the actual move). Suffice to say, I'm very glad it's all over, and that I am where I am.

OH MY WORD! I'm so happy for you! GAME SPOT YEAHHHHHH!! Do you share the office with the Giant Bomb Guys? Jeff Gerstmann, Brad Shoemaker and Ben Pack are such amazing video games dudes! I'm in awe of them :) One thing though.........THE STAIRS! You darn tease!! I'll never know what's up those stairs..........I think there was more stairs at the top of those stairs ;) Looking forward to the new mystery of the new apartment 😍

How do you transport cats via plane? I’m wondering since I have a cat and I’m worried about traveling and how to take her with

Cats can pretty much come on as your carry on item. You still have to buy them a ticket, however. But Juliana and I was able to bring both our cats on the plane, and then keep them under the seat like you would your backpack or something. So you'd have to get a special travel carrier just for that.

You just have this ability to turn uninteresting topics entertaining simply because of your personality, and the style of your videos. They're relaxing and entertaining at the same time. Your channel is severely underrated. Makes sense since the majority of KZread's population are kids who watch slime videos. Not that it's wrong or anything, just disappointing to see hidden gems like you buried under the majority.

Hey! Im still here. I ASSURE you GameSpot did NOT make me quit KZread. They're actually very encouraging of it. It was my choice to step back. My life flipped on its head when I got this job and moved to San Francisco, and I just needed to adjust. Trust me when I say that I miss this channel, and I'm always thinking about where I can take it when the time's right.
