so saddened to hear of the passing of this great bluegrass gospel music legend. He and my cousin Lundy Fields played music together for about 2 years when he was in Nashville. He always thought and kept Ralph in high regard. He took me to one of his concerts in Inez Kentucky at the Roy F Collier center and I was so blessed and privileged to have had the honor of meeting the man Ralph Stanley in person. Rest in peace Dr. Ralph. I believe your singing in heavens happy band today. With reverence and honor. Your fan. Keith Muncy

Cliff States Cry tears of Joy they that pass are promised to be with Jesus Christ. I’ve lost a lot of loved ones. The ones that placed their faith in Jesus their spirits are with Him now and wouldn’t come back here for nothing. I what to be where they are. It makes my faith stronger. Please don’t lose your faith over this. Rejoice with them they are waiting for that reunion day with you. Praise God we have that promise ♥️

Same here buddy. I don't have any faith and I still sing gospel music/play the banjo. My friends call me the king james only atheist lol. Most of my family died over the last year and what has helped me is antidepressants (SAMe), and getting rid of toxic people. You can make it!

Hey, it's not about religion, although I understand why most on the outside looking in might see it that way. It truly is about knowing the true God, and having a relationship with Him. John 3:16 [16]For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

@@rockhaze I understand the misunderstanding lol. Religion is usually a set of rituals that a group of people perform in order to feel good about themselves, or to feel closer to a god. I know most people view christianity as a religion, I did as well, but that is due to a false form of christianity being taught to people. Most people do not understand God's grace and how salvation works. The Bible, which is the word of the true God, tells is that the only way to be made right with God is through the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. All religions have beliefs that one must be good in order to go to heaven, reach nirvana, be reincarnated to a higher status, and so on. But the true God tells us there is nothing we can do to earn heaven or a relationship with Him. Christ paid for our sins, and by believing in Him we can be forgiven and saved. That's the good news. The fact that Jesus rose from the dead is historical fact that many witnessed and died for. So, there are false religions, and then there is truth.
