Raking 1st Cut Hay with the Grizzly 4-Wheel Rake

The in-line hay rake still has a valuable place in small-scale hay equipment lineups! Today we use our Grizzly 4-wheel in-line hay rake to rake our hay into windrows for baling with our Farm Maxx mini round baler. There is no right or wrong way to rake hay as long as you get that hay into suitable windrows for your baler. Some methods are easier than others but do what suits your situation best. Thanks for joining us today, may God bless each of you! Thanks for watching and subscribing!

That is a might fine good rake. Makes good windrows. Love the tractor and rake combo you got there. Stay safe on those hills and God bless.

We had one of those in the early 60s . Ideal for small tractors and easily mounted on the three point lincage .Good for turning rows and rowing up but no good for tedding fresh cut grass . In the UK they were known as a Vicon Acrobat .

Thanks for posting this 🙏 I used my 2 wheel rake for the first time today, and having watched your video I now realize I had it mounted the wrong way😂

I can see by watching the video your farm max drum mower cuts about as good as mine, witch isnt very good. After two seasons of disappointment, im selling mine. A new double action sickle bar mower is the way to go. Give you great credit for trying.

Actually our drum mower cuts very well…any grass you see missed was on me, not paying attention as I should have and letting the mower drift off course.
