It pleases me and upsets me that this is going full circle. The mother is still running away and trying to save her child. From stroller to grocery cart, she's still performing the same actions the day she got bit. It makes me sad knowing this.

+ZGUnlimited Very astute observation! I also liked how the cart makes it kinda look like a zombie taking her groceries home :P There's also a theme of garbage. Mum abandons her daughter in a dumpster, when they find each other in ep 5 zom mum is sitting next to a dumpster ("general waste"), in ep 6 they shelter together in a dumpster to hide from a passing soldier. The zombie dad has his own theme, but that's for future episodes. Hint - You've kinda seen a bit of his story already :]

I went back to watch episode one after watching the episode where mum abandons her child and found that she's there in the beginning. It's a small detail that dated back so far and i'm amazed that it's there! I've seen the comic and the clip of her watching her child back in episode 2, where was it? Near the dump. ; w ; Always watching. The cart seems pretty symbolic, it was original used to bring food to the child, old man rides it, the child uses it as protection, she rides it and mum uses it for the escape. It might very well be the same cart from episode 2 because we never see it hit the beach. All these feels man.

Question: Are you going to finish the show at some point? I have questions I need answered. xD Like: why does it seem like some zombies retain cognitive function and others become mindless (Zombie feeding the cat in the secret ending from ep:1) and what is the "secret" story that is under the main plot because it seems there is one.

Guy Collins Animation As a former animation student and as an actor, I know how difficult it is to convey a complex story with no dialogue, especially one so chock full of sentiment and emotion. This kind of "friendly zombies" might actually exist. The typical "zombie virus" nullifies any kidn of emotion that the human might ahve and make them mindless food seekers. This virus might be somewhat different. It may simply nullify the host's empathy, making them selfishly focused on their goals. If this mother's goal is her daughter's survival, she's still completed to protect her in any way she can, even after being infected with the virus.

You know there is no "zombie virus", right ? It is all just a science fiction. In this case it is all happening because of miracles: the little girl was resurrected, the mom became a human again, animals helping other people, etc.
