I had the same issue with mine, the new version has a locking tab(cover) theyre called RainX silicone advantedge

I unfortunately did not have a lot of luck with these, Advanced auto was generous enough to install them for me, but I ended up changing them out after a year to the beam's, those were good for $14, but I've had the best luck with their truck/suv heavy duty model wipers. $30 a piece but they've survived a brutal winter in Wisconsin and then some. I still keep a cheap $10 rain x rear blade on my honda pilot.

Mines does a terrible job wiping. I'm trying bosch icon next...

How do they compare to the piaa silicon blades? That’s what I’ve been using for years now, but one of the sizes has been out of stock on Amazon, and Amazon has gotten me so lazy I don’t want to go to the auto parts store when they can be placed on my doorstep the next day. They are a few $ short of piaa, but rain x makes decent products and I’d imagine the advantage of silicon should be equally important . The silicon is quite a durable material and the thin layer of silicon left behind on the glsss leaves a hydrophobic layer on the glass (at least with the piaa) we will see with the rainx.

PIAA makes them for Rain-X now it seems.

Are they still going strong at the 2yr mark?

No longer own vehicle but they were fine when I sold it.

Walmart has the Michelin Endurance XT Advanced Silicone for sale right now at $17-ish, I leave my car in the sun all day, everyday, so far the Michelins (non-silicone) are holding really well, curious to see how the silicone will perform once I change them.

I bought these and they drag a lot on the windshield. Very disappointed. Just buy the regular Bosch.

Toyota OEM blades laster longer than anything I've used.
