in this video, it's a large J-hook, correct? (Wish your method worked for small J-hooks - but I gave up after a few hours of trying, reading manuals, watching KZread videos - the wiper just doesn't snap fully in, doesn't go those last couple of millimeters, and with the amount of effort I was already applying, I was afraid I'd break the wiper, the arm, or myself. Tried it on both sides, too - my car needs a 28" on the left, and a 14" on the right - so it's not just one defective wiper - it's the design. Searching the web reveals lots of people complaining about it all the way back to 2015, including auto-mechanics! Some people advise using tools to force the wiper through those last 2 millimeters - but I chickened out: sure, I could force it - but how will I be able to get them off?) Bosch Icon - snapped right in, with minimum effort!

I would return after all of that and get the Bosch. They are the best out there.

Cussing at mine with a small j hook right now too. Neither me nor my husband can get it in place. Also thinking I'll return this nonsense. Eta: lol. And not 30 seconds after I posted this I tried one more time and they finally popped into place when I pulled from the left side of the car
