I’m a scout and although this does sound nice, the conditions outside during the night while camping are never perfect like this. It’s always either hot or cold, never in the middle. Normally hot. And it sucks when you were informed it would be below 80 degrees that night so you brought your extra warm and thick sleeping bag and next thing you know it’s boiling in there.

It’s the still moments like this that I miss the most. The slight rustle of my siblings rolling over in their sleeping bags; my dad’s quiet baritone voice, and my mom’s higher but still quiet tenor just outside the tent; distant laughter and conversations from other campsites... this is how it’s meant to be.

This is so good! One of my favorite sounds is rain on umbrellas and tents. Adding in the crackling fire just makes it so perfect! Officially one of my favorite ambiences of yours so far!

I always go out into the rain in some form. Stand under some trees and look around the surroundings. Open a flap inside just enough to allow the rain drops to get in. I miss camping.

Nothing like rain on a tent, I can almost smell the canvas.

The true legend of this video is that campfire, Really relaxing otherwise and I just want to run outside, slap a tent down while starting a quick fire then snuggling up in some blankets and reading or just enjoying the sounds and view.

Very calming and can be therapeutic in it's own way...love it....the closest I've been to an actual scenario like this was in Army training at Fort Benning years ago...(GA)...it was my last training night in bivouac (field training) and I was in a tent and my visual was close to this on screen...I felt so at ease and comfortable and safe and amazingly at peace with what was around me..and I stayed up all night through the morning that I made it...you know,not just made through Army training but made a peaceful place with myself.

I wasn't expecting someone to flap out a tent pun, but I'm glad you didn't keep your mouth zipped ;D

When I was a kid in Washington not the state it was a city. And it would rain 70 percent of the time. And on rainy days when we came home we would be on our phones watching our stuff our mom would be resting on the couch and. My brother would be playing on my mom's phone. And the rain would pour for the whole day my dad would come home at night tell us to sleep and we would say "aww" and walk slowly to our room. And rain would be pouring down our window we we would never notice cause the window was shut very tight cause we never opened it alot omg those were such good times please do more videos like this.

This or forest rain is my go to because it's not a loud obnoxious heavy downpour. It's the perfect steady rain to feel good, it gives me chills and helps me fall asleep. Thank you.

As a person who has been camping before, I was always sleeping in cabins, however, this still brings back memories from when I would go camping as a young child with my Girl Scout troop, and although we never slept in tents, this still reminds me of when we went to the campsite and it rained all weekend, so that we couldn't roast s'mores, but we still had a lot of fun. -Thank you for this nostalgic video, from Sheepshead Bay, New York. 🤍💙

Now this is the most calming thing in real life. It’s 2am at the campground your beat from the hiking and drinking. You let the fire burn out and right as you curl up a light rain comes down. I love it normally I’d be fast asleep in real life but on my phone idk man, it’s not doing it for me. It kinda sounds like static.

That's ok, not everything translates into video perfectly. This is just a taste, whereas in real life you get the full context. I hope you find something else that suits you better--I have a ton of other videos as well so maybe there's something there 😊

You managed to capture something very magical about the muffled rain sounds, and if there was just a touch of wind going through trees, it would make this mix beyond perfect 😌
