The fact that Valentino *knew* that both Alastor and Charlie were at the Hotel and *still* thought he could go in and shoot the place up without any repercussions tells me Vox and Velvet need to drop him immediately.

I love Charlie's interactions with Angel and Pentious this episode. She's got the energy of a really sweet big sister and while it makes her kind of gullible, it's also super endearing. Also, she looks really cute with her hair messed up.

So something interesting I noticed. So Vox has completely perfect voice, but often filters into a staticy tv voice. While Alastor always has his voice on a radio filter, but there are times when the filter fades away completely and you can hear Alastors normal voice.

Alicia is such a perfect mix of Charlie's sweetness, and Nifty's gremlin energy.

In case you didn’t realize why Val is so mad Angel is staying somewhere else after work is because, as Angel said in Episode 6, Val can do what he wants to Angel in the studio only. If Angel lives in the studio like he was before the Hotel then Val can do what he wants with him when he wants. It’s extremely fucked up

Vox deserves all the Ls, him and Valentino. They are the characters you love to hate

"Stayed Gone" is such a fantastic song. It perfectly establishes Vox and Alastor's dynamic. The fact that Vox was so hot-headed and felt the need to assert dominance in the first place, while Alastor stays collected and nonchalant already suggests who's superior. But the way Alastor just casually tunes in, hits Vox back even harder, and completely airs out his dirty laundry just proves it. And then there's the end, with Alastor giving his own warning and showing his demon form. It's awesome, creepy, and lets us know for certain he's got a hidden agenda. And it's going to change everything. A perfect theatrical number. Also, I'm so glad Vivienne didn't go the obvious, overused story route of having Charlie believe Sir Pentious when he got caught and kicking out Angel Dust or whatever for the sake of drama. And you know the next episode would've been wasted with Angel trying to clear his name. I can't stand that misunderstanding trope.
