Ragging is not joke it's criminal

Ragging destroys a person's self confidence and modesty. It's just like insulting an unknown person in public. Senior students don't even bear any expenses of the juniors then nobody gives them a right to insult anyone. For helping someone one doesn't need to destroy a person's self respect.

Anti-ragging movements should be initiated by the institutions right from the time of advertisement for admissions. It's disheartening to hear that despite so many anti-ragging movements we're still facing the issue. It not only degrades the dignity of this service but also the respect one has for his seniors/institution. It severely affects the mental health of students as well as their self confidence, it hinders their growth as an individual. There's no such thing as "healthy ragging". Students often give in due to peer pressure and to avoid unwanted conflicts. Please stop such nonsense, we already have more problems to deal with; let's not make it harder to live than it already is.

Such a disappointment to see such cheap acts prevalent among the intelligent youth of aiims delhi. It should be declared that ragging is clearly an act of harrasment and should not be encouraged as a means of interaction with seniors. Other healthy means of interaction should be developed instead of committing to such dirty and cheap acts. Ragging is now no longer physical... but still it's not as funny and jolly as they show in movies such as chhichhore and 3 idiots (don't fall for that trap)... Although majority of seniors don't indulge in such sort of things, there will be some seniors who will try to humiliate you in every possible way (verbally, mentally)... it is a really traumatising experience... people follow it as a ritual which must be stopped... at least, if you can't change the whole system, do dare to take stand for yourself if the limit is crossed... you will never regret it... you have come alone in this world and you entered that medical college due to your own effort and God's will... stay hard

"Ragging" is just wrong. Be it harsh or healthy or in any scale. Doctor is such a HUMBLE profession and it's quite IRONIC that mbbs students are doing this to their juniors. Bhai baaki colleges me ragging hota hai that is believable (it doesn't make it right though) lekin MBBS students ragging kar rahe hai....jo jaan bachane keliye parh rahe hai unko baakiyo ko anxiety dena hai??? Zyada irony nahi hai bhaisaab. I understand some colleges have seniors who just want to "teach" their juniors some shit but it's still condescending from their side. Their intentions are to act superior at the end of the day. They have no idea how their "ragging" can affect a fresher's mentality.

Hey, if you get AIIMS New Delhi then you won't even notice anything else. It's in the capital, and then there are good amount of seniors to help. You can even seek help from other students who live in Delhi(as I said, if you get AIIMS New Delhi then you would be famous and people will sure help you).
