Had no idea about their lyrics but just enjoyed with their sound. Now whenever I listen them it really makes sense. Plus they had hundreds of people blocking traffic, starting fights, and moshing. They knew once they started they would get in trouble. Michael Moore (who you can see in the video) even told them beforehand "whatever happens, don't stop playing." Say whatever you want about em, but they made wall street and the corporate assholes shit themselves. Rage was pretty good about using the corparate and goverment systems against them.

When your 15yr daughter gets her first electric guitar after having our own school of rock for her whole life. We revisited Rage today after she’s trying to figure out where she wants to play her guitar (the position). Showed her some of Tom’s wizardry and she’s pie eyed 👁️ 👁️ 😮 and instantly hooked. This house has been on a SOAD marathon for months with an acoustic. 💆🏻‍♀️

They are both good videos, but this video is way more interesting. Limp Bizkit's video was kind of typical are par for the course at the time tbh. I think that ultimately MTV just wanted to give the award to the more popular song and not give RATM a chance to get on stage and say something wild. LOL but atleast one kindaaa got on stage anyway
