खड़ी आवाज की माधुर्य के मिसाल विदुषी गंगूबाई और उस्ताद फ़ैयाज़ खां साहब की गायकी को देखकर समझ में आता है...सुनकर ध्यानस्थ होने के अतिरिक्त और कोई उपाय नहीं रह जाता...ध्यान का यही तो वास्तविक अर्थ है कि आग की तरह यह आप को तपायेगी ही...कोई इस ताप से अगर बचा हुआ अनुभव कर रहा है तो यह समझ लेना चाहिए उसका आग से सपंर्क हुआ ही नहीं...

Started listening to her a few weeks ago, know realising, she is ultimate among the classical vocalist, i ever listen so far, I would say she is evergreen and 'Diamond of Hangal' where real soul of music raises under the shadow of rural dust.

Such rendition is scarcely to be heard.I am personally delighted most from the performance of Bidushi Gangubai Hungle particularly in this Ahir Bhairab Raga.

Gangajji is marvelous. He has absolute control over her voice. Voice modulation is fabulous. Our music is divine.
