    I will say, and this is anywhere. If there is a military transport of a nuclear weapon, owned by the US, there is a defined National Defense Area around the asset that the security personnel have full jurisdiction. Obviously, that is an extreme case, usually not done by ground, and I the rare instance that it did happen, it would be done in conjunction with local authorities so that u wouldn’t really deal with US personnel, but the outer perimeter would be locals. Just wanted to let people know that there are rare cases.

That's your first error... 2. vehicle; 'a conveyance; a device for carrying or transporting substances, objects or individuals.' The old entrance was being reworked so I walked around the perimeter on the main road till I came to what I thought was a side road into the airside. After a couple of hundred yards there was a covered area and portakabin by a gate. I didn't realise the tech site was still in use and I sauntered up with my little backpack on and phone in hand to be greeted by five US army types with rifles emerging from the portakabin. They spread out ahead of me and very politely asked if they could help me, lol. I explained my business but they assured me there was no access here and I had to walk a mile back where I'd come from. Very professional and polite but definitely prepared to act if required. Much respect to them, unlike our muppet mod dibble.

    Just a small suggestion, maybe all auditors should carry printed copies of the Oath of attestation that all police officers take and always ask them if they are acting on their oath when you encounter them. Then present them with a printed copy of the Oath of attestation and remind them that they swore to uphold their oath. When you have that on camera there is no hiding place for the oath breakers.

  • @johaquila

    @johaquila

    @@TheTerminator423 I don't think so. It's just human nature that they don't remember it, given that it's typically treated as a formality. Just like you can't distinguish good and bad spouses based on whether they remember details of the wedding ceremony. The only people I would expect to remember parts of their oath are those who are weirdly spiritual about it, and those who realized at the time that there were items in it that they would probably not uphold. I guess when PTTP is asking random officers it's just a little psychological game of the kind that police often play with the public, making them feel uncomfortable and at a disadvantage. Calling cops out for not upholding their oath is of course a different matter.

    When is the last time u saw a USAF Security Forces member shoot someone where it wasn’t justified? As someone who has worked in the job for 14 years now, can’t tell u of a single one. Our Rules of Engagement are way more strict that what u probably see with civilian police. I have friends who were working at gate in the states, had shots fired at them from a car off base that sped off. They didn’t return fire because they understood their ROEs, backdrop, and totality of the circumstance. So calm yourself, we are actually trained, and held accountable for any use of force.

They do not disrespect their oath; it is you who is assuming they do! because you have'nt got the 'provoking' response you want! You have no rights to even ask! Also, do you really think someone is just going to jump into a car from miles way and rush to the scene of a man taking pics of fence posts, to take his complaint!! Are you real yourself!??
