Agreed. In still a little indifferent about that rest of the album, I just hear too many old melodies woven in to the songs, but teleharmonic stands out. Amazing.

After my fifth or sixth listen on headphones, I am literally blown away by this thing. It flows like water, from spring to the sea, with a few really scary waterfalls along its way. And there's so much going on, even in the most minimalist songs. So subtle and beautiful. 😭

Another member of the literally brigade. The word exploded in popularity online as influencers thought it made them sound clever and combined with other filler words it increased their word count thereby increasing their "content". Congratulations. Consider yourself influenced.

Yeah it’s absolutely insane how well this album flows. I normally don’t like long minimalist songs like wall of eyes or I quit, but the mood that this album sets is so strong that I found myself appreciating them more and more the longer I listened

Great reaction. I am delighted at how everyone seems to connect and latch on to completely different songs as their favorite. For me, "Read The Room" and "You Know Me" immediately stood out as forever listens. Especially "Read The Room". Though, this whole album is really kicking ass.

The end of Under Your Pillows is like the end of Not The News Paulstretched IMO. I’m so glad they finally gave us an uninterrupted few minutes of those ambient textures with no vocals over it.

Friend of a Friend is apparently about lockdown and the people singing on the balconies in Italy - and also references the government giving backhand deals to their friends of the back of the tragedy. His own words I think, I'm sure the lyrics have more depth too and other messages in them.

Great reaction! Have been seeing the words mesmerizing and hypnotic in so many reviews of the album/songs on the album. It’s my favourite aspect of Radiohead’s music. Really enjoy the work they’ve done that has that cinematic, moody, atmospheric quality. Wall Of Eyes is another awesome entry into that category.

I love the album overall. I agree with you about the distorted guitars on Bending Hectic. I thought they sounded kind thin and brittle when compared to the thick guitar sound Jonny would have on OK Computer and The Bends.

A Light was a phenomenal project but felt more like a collection of songs. This felt like they really knew what they wanted to do with the project and group; whereas on the previous album they seemed to be fumbling around the transition from working the tracks with Radiohead to a new group: but on here, they found their identity, and used it to their advantage,

I'm far from an expert, actually I know nothing. However, I feel like the guitars at the end of Bending Hectic sound too much far away or turned down, don't know exactly how to explain. Thom's voice is too sharp in comparison. It's not as well put as, say, guitars on Ok Computer. I really liked the song, but it ruins the end a little for me.
