when you went "IS HE OK???" at 4:24 with genuine concern, that was all of us watching that video lmao it's obviously a very sincere song about the pain of longing and not feeling good enough and it was probably still fresh for him when they performed this. I think that's why so many people continue to connect to it, Tom Yorke's vulnerability in this song is simply disarming.

Probably a little bit controversial but I don't think anybody can improve on this... people saying others singing it better don't get it ..... The vocals is this way to create an emotional feeling... Not just to show the skill set of a vocalist... Unfortunately this is the way things have gone.... Most important creativity.... Prime example Neil Young... Not got the greatest voice but it doesn't matter because as an artist overall he all the tools to do the whole art !... Not seen this for a while many thanks ✌️🇬🇧

watch the prince live cover. its not well produced or anything. it is just a moment that happened. so it doesnt sound perfect on youtube. but you can imagine how it would have been in reality. im a 90s kid, so i never appreciated prince till i saw him do creep. he makes it his own.

Thom Yorke is easily one of the best male contemporary vocalists of the last 30 years. Like, top 5. You should really check out more. His range and control and emotion is STUPID good. You gotta hear multiple songs though to get a feel for his ability. This is one of the few where he just goes HAM

I think this live performance has a really somber feeling to it. Like it feels really really melancholy to me, you can hear the fragility and pain, it’s something i rarely see with artists. It’s amazing honestly.

He can sing really well when he's not jumping around the stage like a lion much better than a lot of people want to give him credit for

Love Radiohead, such an innovative band. I have every single album by them which is rare for me.

Radiohead's original version is the BEST - and that's why so many people have covered it - they heard Radiohead and knew they had to cover it. It's just such a beautiful song, especially when sung by the songwriter who puts every ounce of passion into his performance. It's masterpiece that will never age. Check out some of their other stuff - Street Spirit is beautiful, or Karma Police, Paranoid Android, My Iron Lung.....the list is endless!

Always nice to throwback to early Radiohead live performances. So much detail in what they were doing musically, but live in the '90s they brought very real emotion with it. Properly special. :)

This song changed my life - aaand I may or may not have damn near caused an accident by hitting the gear shift in my friend's car whilst playing air guitar to this song - Allegedly... ;) Seeing Radiohead live is a revelation. "Street Spirit", "Paranoid Android", "True Love Waits", "How To Disappear Completely", "There, There" (we are all accidents waiting to happen) - mmkay I'ma stop or I'll be here all day.

Totally agree. Creep is one of the worser songs on the widely considered worst album. But yet thom still manages to make it so full of emotions and incredible.

It gives me chills too! Every time. A pity the band doesn’t actually like playing this song.The record label wanted the grunge sound which was huge at the time. The actually wrote my iron lung about it. Like nirvana with smells like teen spirit- one of their most commercial songs was one they ended up disliking the most

right, you gotta give credit to the original band, people will redo a song but somebody had the idea first -- Thom York apprently really met a girl who was that beatiful and he felt just this way - instead of getting huffy or angry or dismissive or whatever, his reaction was to rate himself unworthy, not good enough - that's why the song was so popular, so many people could relate. Good reaction, you are articulate and expressive and have intelligent opinions
