My favorite band of the last three decades without a doubt. They got even better and even more experimental right through the 2000's until now.

Most people don't have a problem with Radiohead, they have a problem with their most diehard fans. Sometimes the biggest fans are the worst ambassadors.

Ive never heard of radiohead getting hate, usually everything they do is applauded and loved by both critiques and fans. I do have friends that are unfamiliar with the band and associate it with a downer/depressive music so they dont really even try to like it. But to each their own, I have always loved them!

I think fans just get pigeonholed as snobby 90’s nostalgia absolutists… I’ve seen more disdain for Tool fans for their behavior. I don’t know that Juggalos have pristine reputations for that matter either.

Easily the best band of the last 30 years. They have songs that didn't even make albums which would be career accomplishments for other bands. Listen to Man Of War or The Daily Mail as examples.

Great thing about Radiohead is the evolution they have displayed since The Bends. You will find a vast sonic exploration along their journey. I love how their tracks are so cynical, dark, and melancholy while somehow weaving beautiful and hopeful vibes. In the end it is a tale of our humanity.

Loved your reaction to this. Probably the most creative and musically talented british bands in 30 years.

Radiohead is on another level in all of rock/alternative... most important rock band since the beatles, in terms of innovation and taking the traditional sounds to a different level

Pretty sure NME gave this track solo of the decade... What a tune....

The members of this band are rather diverse on instruments. They experiment when they are creating new songs and sometimes this means the rhythm guitarist plays a weird shaker 2:12 for the first part of a song etc. Notice for this song the singer is also on acoustic guitar. At 7:00 as the guitar solo ends, notice the guitarist at the right of the screen steps back and starts playing keyboards for the melodic bit. At 8:45 notice the rhythm guitarist starts singing "Rain down, rain down. Over me, from a great height" so the lead singer can sing a verse over that to lead to the outro. This is from without a doubt one of the top 10 albums of the 90's. Know that you have watched this once or twice more and know what I have just shared with you, so you have any more thoughts on this band or song, @ThatSingerReactions?

Always weird & unsettling to hear a Radiohead song out of context of the album! LOL ....& what an album this one is. "OK Computer" is one of those rare beasts from the '90s which I bought on release & still listen thru *as an album* regularly to this day. Absolute lightning strike of a thing! :)

family guy made fun of "how mothers don't like radiohead" and i think thats almost a compliment, cause it's easily earie and sad, depressive and chaotic, not something mothers want kids to listen to but if anything, it gives teens music to relate to.. This song, I think, is the best rock rhapsody. Better than Bohemian Rhapsody even. I think it's a super underutilised form in modern music so there isn't that much competition though.

It is a BRILLIANT song, but Bohemian Rhapsody and the creative genius of Freddie Mercury is kinda impossible to compare or beat imo.

You should hear Tripod do their version of this song from their Pod August night show. It’s haunting and beautiful with just Scod on the guitar and their harmonies to back it.

If people hate Radiohead, they don't appreciate music. They may not be your flavor of music, but you can't deny them. It's fair to not like Radiohead, but to say they are terrible just speaks to ignorance. I can understand an argument where you don't 'like' them. It's not for everyone. But they pushed Music forward. Understand context. Even hip hop... The production and arrangements. Listen to Frank, Travis... They took notes. They made beat switching what it is today
