Radioactivity (8 of 16) Decay Activity, An Explanation
Gives a detailed explanation for what activity is with respect to radioactivity. Activity is defined as the number of decays per second. It is abbreviated with the symbol A and has the metric unit the Becquerel (Bq). One Becquerel is equal to one decay per second.

Thanks!
Amazing video now my concept is crystal clear. Last time a ques based on activity ruined my physics section of JEE, won't let this happen again. 👍

Thank you so much for all this great videos. I'm watching them as I try to learn chemistry. They were very helpful since you use all kinds of animations and graphs. I wish that you record your lectures at class from the first day and post them here for every grade. I came across some of the videos that partly show your experiments in class like ones in the combustion rections and it was very educational and fun to watch. Thanks a lot.

that's an interesting video but could you make a video going over the types of radiations? like alpha, gamma and beta, that'd be tremendously appreciated

I taught chemistry, physics and AP physics in the US for many years. I have now been teaching Abitur physics at a small private school in Berlin Germany for the last 10 years.
