Radioactivity (10 of 16) Decay Activity, Example Problems

Goes over four different worked examples for calculating activity and half-life from radioactive decay. Activity is defined as the number of decays per second. It is abbreviated with the symbol A and has the metric unit the Becquerel (Bq). One Becquerel is equal to one decay per second.

What if at 7:00 you have that the half-life is 9.7 hr and it's asking you to find what amount remains in Bq after 12 hrs? Bc I was trying to follow you and did 12 hr/9.7 hr and got 1.23711 half-lives, which means that the Activity (in Bq) will be some # between the first and second half-life [T1/2 (1) and T1/2 (2)], how do you find that exact # (the Activity)?
