The individual in this video asks at minute: 1:50 "Where does this radical Islam program come from?" Simple, it comes from the core tenets of Islamic theology and doctrine. Waging jihad is as old as Islam and Muslims have been engaged in it, in one form or another, every century since Islam's inception. Jihad is considered by many Islamic scholars to be an unofficial 6th pillar. Look, Muhammad himself was a jihadist (arent all jihadists "radical?"). He lead campaigns of conquest and fought in numerous battles and was quite successful actually. There are scriptural accounts in the Hadith and Sira where he and the sahaba massacred an entire tribe of 700 to 900 Jewish men (Banu Qurayza). Does Muhammad's wholesale slaughter and beheading of over 700 men seem "radical" to you?? ISIS massacre people by the hundreds and thousands, so I don't know what this man is talking about by trying to pretend that Islamists are some how distorting Islam. There is nothing that Islamic groups like ISIS or Boko Haram or the dozens of other Jihadi terror organizations around the world are doing that Muhammad either didn't do himself or would not of advocated or approved of in some manner. Let me pose a question: Muhammad and the sahaba took captive women and immiserated them as sex slaves and essentially raped them (this is recorded in the Hadiths and considered Halal by Allah). Isis and the like, take women captive and force them into sex slavery and essentially rape them. Who is being un-Islamic here exactly? So this notion of "radical" Islam simply doesn't make sense when you connect Muhammad's moral example and behavior to that of his most devout and earnest followers today. Islam and Muhammad have always been extreme (Allah is not a moderate). The reality is this... it has been ISIS like behavior since day one with Islam. There is no such thing as "radical" Islam, there is only Islam.

@@icewhiteporsche using words like “radicals” or “extremists” (to describe Muslim jihadists) are merely euphemisms. People use these terms as another way of not speaking honestly about Islam. I get why people use these terms. They want to distance jihadists from your average non-jihadist Muslim. Your average Muslims who doesn’t want to kill and be killed for Allah. Your so called "moderates," which may exist. But what most certainly does not exist is a “moderate Islam." The reality is from an Islamic perspective there is nothing “radical” or “extremist” in what ISIS jihadists are doing. This is clearly evident if you examine the hudud laws of the sharia. For example, ISIS will publicly whip and stone adulterers to death. They dismember the hands and feet of thieves. They behead blasphemers, crucifying apostates, throw homosexuals from the highest point. All of these punishments are divinely sanctioned by the Quran or sunnah. All of these barbaric laws are in complete alignment with the sharia. These are Islamic punishments prescribed by Islamic jurisprudence. How are the “Islamic State” not “Islamic” when they implement all these draconian punishments to the letter. The fact of the matter is these hudud punishments are not “extreme” or “radical” in the light of Islamic moral teachings, *_they only appear extreme_* to western sensibilities and modernity. The truth of the matter is that Islamic State jihadists and sympathizers are Islamic, extremely (no pun in intended) Islamic.

That’s not really true historically that Islam was a quietist religion. Far from it. Sorry. Maybe in modern times that’s true but even that is a tough sell. Salafists and Wahabis predate Qutb. And Mohamed predates them all. Who was far from a quietist.

Sayyid Qutb did not call for atoning people and the declaration of war on them, his style was an Arab literary style, and he did not mean that the takfiir is truly atoning people..but he meant that the situation in which Muslims live was similar in many ways to the situation of Arabs before Islam from injustice and neglect of the laws of Islam

(Sahih International) Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly. - Quran Surah Al-Mumtahanah 60, verse 8 Islam promotes kindness إِنَّ رَحۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ قَرِيبٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ Indeed, the mercy of Allah is near to the doers of good. -Quran Surah Al-A'raf, chapter 7, verse 56 There's no compulsion to become a Muslim (Sahih International) There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut (the Rebel, the satan) and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing. - Quran Surah Al-Baqarah, chapter 2 verse 256 NOT EVERY MUSLIM IMPLEMENT ISLAM PROPERLY. Terrorist who tell they are muslim don't implement islam properly. To have better understanding about Islam please take closer look at quran and hadith. People can't simply conclude that Islam is cruel , agressive etc just by looking dozens of quran verses or hadith or by looking terrorist action. Those are more than 6000 quran verses and more than 500000 hadith . If you want to know better about Islam, please learn all of those quran verses and hadith carefully. USE OBJECTIVE THINKING, NOT HATE (someone Will NEVER get the truth using hate). This may take many years. Please share this. Thanks
