We need a sequel. I would like to see the stories continue. Kyle’s issues with his parents, further reconciliation with the neighbours, Jane coming to terms with her kleptomania and maybe finding out the cause of her actions since she has a history of doing this. The ending left us wanting more.

Unfortunately, this all too often is reality. It would be hopeful to show it another way, but not real in a majority of social interactions and scenarios. How many people would divorce their attractive spouse and turn that person in due to them being a kleptomaniac/committing thievery without violence(like taking money from a neighbor's purse in a momentary distraction)? Unfortunately, most of the time, a spouse would refuse to ask questions about where income was coming from or ignore these crimes upon finding out that they could legally later extricate themselves from. No one would want something stolen from them or to lose something, so ignoring this violates the do unto others as you'd have them do unto you statute. Another example, would most people turn their chjIbren in to the authorities for any moderate crime out of the blue(without nudging from the police)?! Whether it's a married person deeply in love, a parent, a person influenced or fueled by race, a cop that allows their first cousin that they grew up with off the hook, a politician uses her connections to get her husband's friend off the hook, or whatever--most of the time bias is a major problem(but real)!

We need an ending to this, the cop and his wife both need to be charged for theft. Just because he's a cop doesn't give him the right to allow his wife to steal, he's as guilty as she is!! Bad ending

I know the policeman was stuck between a rock and a hard place with the situation concerning his wife but to me he was only thinking about himself and his reputation of law enforcement instead of doing what was right. This needs to conclude because both the policeman and his wife are wrong for what they're doing. A crime is a crime not matter who commits it.

I'm guessing close to real life with one of three possibilities: 1. Wife gets caught by police, gets arrested, finds out who she is and who she's married to and if he's lucky he'll either just get fired or forced to resign. 2. Same as above but husband charged as Accessory after the fact and both go to jail. 3. She steals the wrong person's mail/package and ends up being shot most likely shot dead. Either way, that won't end well either way.

He also could have recused himself and report his findings to a supervisor who can reassign. If he doesn't report it and doesn't recuse himself he can be charged as Accessory After the Fact. He knew what his wife did and did and said nothing. He's as guilty as her. Destroying evidence= Obstruction of Justice. Each area is different but generally if property is over $200 fair market price, that's a felony. Stealing mail by itself is a federal offense. There are probably equivalent laws on the state/province or equivalent level as well.

The moral is empathy. Sometimes there are exceptions to crimes if you really can’t help it. Not everyone that does crimes deserve to be seen and treated as a criminal. It’s because people think like this that a lot of people who just need a little compassion, help, love, support and understanding unjustly get in trouble and aren’t getting a chance. I’m glad videos like this are out. Open yo minds already. Have a heart. 🙏

The legal loophole. A spouse can't be required to give testimony against said spouse. There is something beyond the thefts that could be RICO charge. They could face charges if outside sources had knowledge of the crime. ie: Wife steals...Cop husband destroys evidence. Sounds like a good reason for a RICO. Did they keep the stolen merchandise? If the SOLD the merchandise to reseller, that would be the 3rd party. (Can we see RICO here)? That would elevate the crime to a FEDRAL crime. I'm not going into details at this time.

This unfortunately happens probably most of the time where judgment is involved. People choose family, friends, attraction, prestige, bribery, and peer pressure(often their race or leaning to a different race other than themselves*, too) over right. We saw multiple examples of it here and it is rare where "judges"(whether officially, publicly, privately, or communally) actually do the right thing! People take sides to the direct opposition/silencing of the truth -> Karens, Stephens(django: unchained), cops, judges, jurors, and citizens(bias shown between celebs and normal people, between the rich and the poor, and/or between one race or another/others). I think to show it in any other way than how it is depicted here would certainly be hopeful, but untrue! Bias takes so many forms and very hard to overcome! If you manage to flee from racism and bribery(advisable), then you'll have to deal with family and friends(and the possible tugging at you from mutual family members and friends on the plight of another person or how you should treat this person)... *This happens as well. And, when you consider all of it, it's a whole lot...

This shows that even most respected person will cover their tracks even bury their wrongdoings or their loved ones, so reality is a 2 face scenario, show one, live one 🤔

It's more like your guilty until proven innocent. You get charge first for crime than you have to prove you're innocent. Is there a part 2?
