I put a push in decompression valve in out of chainsaw then x2 lol then I put 1 in from a Harley Davidson still working great now Tip When your welding you should put a cone/tip on your torch to get a more focused flame or buy a tig lol Good videos bro

So under the plate you push down the plate you mount to the mower on top of the plate you mount to the mower there should be a screw You can adjust how much throttle you can give it

that hitch that was in the back needs to be put back on, without it your transaxle will blow up. The orange peice was also the oil slinger so that needs to be put back in too.

I could be wrong but I think the best practice would have been to grind a groove in the crack with like a dremel or a die grinder before you aluma-welded it. If you decide to go back in I would give that a try. That being said I'm really enjoying the content!

You're right, I tried to notch it with an angle grinder, which kind of worked. A lot of the process I didn't record and I actually went back and tried to redo it again. I really couldn't get the metal hot enough to pull the aluma-weld through the crack. Also I'm not experienced with it so I'm not fully blaming the aluma-weld or the torch haha

Psyched to find out you can add a throttle pedal to a manual gear shift mower! I wonder if that is part of why the throttle is less smooth than on an automatic/hydrostat? (I don't know sh*t about engines yet, really).

@@TylerChaseMotors glad to help. hope you didn't kill the motor. Make sure you check the bearings and cylinder bore while you have it apart! It's gonna suck having to completely tear it down but it's better than putting even more money into it just to have it die preemptively.

I got an entire engine (31R977) for free thanks to our "mechanic" at work who doesn't know a whole lot about small engines, and didn't want to listen to me when I told him it was the cam shaft making it not turn over. Oh well, 30 bucks and I got a running engine for my DLT3000.
