8 years ago my daughters dedicated this song to me when I was hospitalized waiting for a liver transplant. I still listen to it today. Got the transplant, daughters where beside me the whole time. Blessed to have them and this song.

I use to sing this song to my husband all the time. I was always by his side no matter what thought all the pain his medical issues I was always there being strong for him. I heard this song on the radio reminded me how I use to sing to him every time I heard it. I'm dedicating this song to my boyfriend. He showed me this when we first got together and I never really thought about the meaning behind it. Well yesterday I lost him and now I could never of understood the meaning more than I do now. I should of listened to him more and taken responsibility for things that I do which are wrong. I used to listen to this all the time just a few years ago, this song has "walked through hell with me", its always been there and you have no idea this song has helped me too much and is still helping me today. 10 months ago I was in the hospital fighting for my life after being admitted to the hospital for my liver being severely septic. My family stayed so close to me and everything else that happened since. This song brings all my feelings back and now I can cry happy tears.

This song makes me want to give hugs to your students and your friends who have been there for you. Rachel Platten I like your beautiful voice and I like your dress that you have. Thank you so much for your this song!

I miss those times were people create music to lift each other up.

I couldn’t listen to this song again until just now. It was too painful, but I told myself I’d listen again in 2024. This song came out when my Gramps was battling cancer and I would sing it to him while he laid in bed, totally unable to hear me. I didn’t care. I would just sing to forget how horrible everything was and how painful it is to lose the person who matters the most to you. Deep inside I hoped he could hear me though. Even though the tears are pouring down, it feels good to sing along to Rachel Platten again :)

Rachel, this next "Fight Song" is a great, kind, and motivational song to me, always. You go, girl!

I think that the lyrics doesn't mean a 'hell' in a real definition. It's like when someone facing a disease, depression or any other bad things they would be suffering and that's what 'hell' that the lyrics want to describe. Anyone agree with me?
