I am so sorry! I have lost two brothers to suicide, so I have a general idea of what you are going through. I truly am so sorry about your loss.

When I was 16, after 10 years of compulsory public education, I watched a couple of friends leave to further their tertiary educations overseas, while I could only get a local polytechnic diploma. 2-3 years after that, I watch more friends walk proudly into various local universities, while my educational journey came to an end. I came from a poor family and my father could only send me for basic education and nothing more as I had 3 younger siblings who were still schooling. After 3 years in the military, I began working and became the family bread winner. I never stopped working for almost 25 years and slowly climbed up the career ladder. A few years ago, I hear this song and it struck a cord in me. I decided it was time. I enrolled in graduate school at 45. Next to the lecturer, I was the oldest person in class. Everywhere I went on campus, I stood out like a sore thumb. Everyone was on laptops and tablets, while I was on books, papers and pencils. But I didn't give up, I kept turning to this song to keep me going. THIS was MY fight song. I struggled hard but help soon came. Classmates half my age who once spurred the 'old dude' from groups in class, turned to me for life advice and in turn, helped me navigate the digital world and gadgets and online submissions. I still turned to this song to keep the fire going when I wanted to give up. I graduated last year, ahead of schedule, 4 years out of a 5 year part time degree programme. My parents couldn't make it as they were too frail. There was no one in the audience clapping for a 49 year old graduate. But I was proud. I had made it. And this song was one of those songs that just kept me telling myself ... I can do this!

I battled cancer for 2 years and every time this song was put on, it would make me feel so powerful when I felt so sad and unmotivated. When this came out I was homeless, on drugs, and then jail. I now have a house, job, and husband. This song and “Clover Cage - In the Moment” are the two songs that helped get rid of my depression. Today is a year since I got admitted to hospital for my illness in 2023 and I never appreciated Woody.EXE enough until now because he is the one who saved my life this night last year. Woody.EXE has got the medal of honour for his bravery that night and he still wears it now; I survived this dreadful thing because of him. The end of 2023 was really hard for me too cause I lost my childhood dog, one of my grandmother’s cats, and I lost my grandfather from my dad’s side of terminal stage four pancreatic and liver cancer. I was in a bad place mentally and emotionally exhausted

My Grandma has Cancer. She loves this song so much, she says that it's her inspiration and so am I. I decided to play this on the piano for her. She is a plays both the piano and the organ and she said that what I played was the best thing she's ever heard. She's really weak sometimes and I love her some much. Over the last few years of my life, I’ve been undergoing leg surgery after leg surgery, the pain was excruciating and unbearable, the therapy to walk again after those surgeries were even harder. However this song, was my favorite. It made that pain bearable and it set the foundation for who I am. I have way more to go and rehearing this song brings so much nostalgia from my those days of suffering which are not over. So I must thank you Rachel. Thank you for creating this masterpiece that kept my spirit going. My heart cried with pain, and it never stopped but through it I hear this song. This is not just a song. This is, and will always truly be; a Fight Song ❤️‍🔥

This song literally saved my friend's life I told my friend who was suffering from depression about 3 years ago with some other motivational songs and she texted me 3 days later that she doesn't wanna give her self up and thank me for everything I did for her and as for now she is still my friend and I would never forget the smile on my face when I saved my friend's life...well this song actually saved her so this song would always have a special place in both of my friend's heart

I dedicate this song to my 8y/o sister who is fighting with cancer . More power to you sweetheart! PS: She took her last breath on 22 Dec 2021 , I miss her a lot . Hope that she rests in peace . I listen to this song when I feel like cutting myself , it stops me from doing it so it really helps . I've been bullied since I started school and it was all because of my weight and it caused me to starve myself which led to me being in hospital for 6 and a half months , I was happy that i wasn't at school but at the same time I hated being in Hospital because my family kept pushing me to eat and I didn't want to . Another time I was in hospital because I had cut so deep into my arm I sliced a vein and there was so much blood that i almost died it was so scary . Then 2 weeks ago I took an overdose I passed out and was prenounced dead but the did cpr to save me I was so grateful they did ... I've been clean for a week all because of this song I just love it ! Me and my mum had a talk and I might have to be homeschooled because apparently I cause a lot of rumours in school because people find out what happened to me then they add to it and pass it on . Thank you Rachel for this song

I met my friend for the first time when he was only 5weeks old.when i saw him i just knew an great adventure was going to happen and he became my best friend.he sadly passed away in 2022.he was my jack Russell .his name was Milo 17 yrs old and he was my favourite hello but my hardest goodbye.i still visit his grave everyday in my backyard.he died of cancer and he was a fighter🐕🚶

Dear Rachel, Im inside my room right now, its all depressingly dark and hopeless, Im all in tears and maybe God has a purpose that your song randomly played. The lyrics is so magical that it seems they're talking to me not to give up. I am bullied, i have a terrible long face that everyone makes fun of me... I feel ugly everyday but I realized that I have a "life" and reality to face in. It inspire mo to don't give a damn and continue living no matter what.... I grew up abused physically and mentally abused. This song is an inspiration to keep going in the hard times.

My mom has cancer and currently has covid. Her fever is 104.9, but her o2 is good, so the dr doesn't want her to go to the er. We can see a new lump in her throat, but she can't get any kind of scan until she tests negative. She's on day 5 of Covid and still testing positive, but the lump is growing fast. I believe in the power of prayer and healing. If you do, too, would you please say a prayer for my mama? Her name is Lynn. She's a wife, a mother, a grandma, and a friend to SO many people. She has been a volunteer for multiple charities, one year for Mother's Day - all she wanted was for us to go with her to help clean up tornado debri and help people find their pets and dig out anything salvageable. We came home feeling very fortunate for what we had. We aren't rich, but we have a good mom. My kids have an amazing grandma, and that is better than anything money can buy. It would devastate our family to lose our rock 😭

I recently lost my dad on March 25th

Short and ugly with an ugly scar on my neck from a thyroid cancer surgery. Living in a big city in a foreign country with only one friend is boring and stressful. Days begin by getting ready to work and end in a boring room with lonely bed. And your family most of the time only remembers you when they need something from you. And your boyfriend chooses to be with someone else after spending almost 4 years of your life with him. But life goes on because I've still got a lot of fight left in me.

Three years ago I was in a car accident. I broke three out of four limbs, fractured a bone in my neck, and also a bruised bone all along the other arm. Today I am still alive and I am pretty much done getting patched up after 12 surgeries. I can walk with little assistance, and I continue to gain strength. Yes. This IS my fight song!

This song played the other morning while I was getting ready for work. Wish I’d had the time to have a good cry. Lost my sister to breast cancer in November of 23 and this was her song till the day she died. ❤ Missing her today. ❤️

True, time flies so fast

I'll HAVE to download this from iTunes the next time I get a card. After being left in a debilitating condition, it's hard to keep hope alive some days. With songs like this to pick me up, though; it gets me through life one day at a time. I might sound weak, but I'm lucky to be alive; after sepsis put me on life-support at Christmas 2013. They told my family that I wasn't going to make it ... but I DID (minus my large-bowel). It wasn't an easy recovery, though (in fact, I'm suffering complications that can't be fixed). Despite this, I make plans to spend time with my family, even though it puts me through so much pain. But I bear it & carry on, one day at a time. That's how I "fight". If I was able to get through multiple organ-failure, emergency surgery, a 5-week coma, then face death & recover from it; the sky is the limit. I'm telling this now, in the hope that it can inspire others to get through difficult obstacles in life; to show that it IS possible to overcome them. ☺️

I've been living with long-term illness from my late teens till almost late 30s. Two of my exes left me because of my disability. Been back and forth from one hospital to another hospital and only now doc found reasons for my illness, which is A LOT. Been giving up too many times but I'm glad I'm surrounded by family and friends who never give up on me and curing me. One day, on my latest MRI scan, this song was on the headphone which this song was and still my motivation words to me. Once I listened to the song, I cried. I cried the whole journey while I was in the MRI. But I cannot move my head or hand to wipe my tears. After the scan is over, the Doctor just smiles and hugs me. After a while, the doctor said 'Everything will be fine and you're strong'. Those words really made my day. For those who are having a bad day, just know that there are people who want you to succeed and conquer your feelings and pains. You're never alone. You're stronger than you think. You're lucky you're being tested cause God knows you're capable of getting through it.
