After a big crash in testing, I had limited running before qualifying, but managed a P3 on the grid, which I was happy with.
I started reasonably, but what became apparent was the blistering speed of some of the other cars around me - not sure if this was crash related or not, but I done my best to keep up, and knowing that I had to finish ahead of Matt Sheppard (yellow car #80), I did what was needed to secure the 2019 270R championship title!

Well it's got to be A for effort and B- for execution could have got first or second place there well done anyway. Where did you think you went wrong! What was your tick over on the car before you started?

I only needed to finish in the top six, and ahead of Matt Sheppard (yellow car #80) to become the 2019 270R champion, so that was my aim. I was happy to let the others battle it out, so long as I finished where I needed to. As you can tell from my driving and your comment, I could've finished further up, but didn't want to take too many risks, given the overall championship was at stake.
