This podcast makes me happy. It's fun, lighthearted, and positive. Such a nice diversion from all the typical doom and gloom news and podcasts.

Am I going crazy or is all this headphone talk just ignoring that the basics of this already exist in every pair of headphones supporting Siri or Assistant? Like literally short of a little camera lapel that does nothing but wait for a BT LTE take picture command, the feature set already exists and just needs to go via a phone. I'm never going to completely leave my phone behind, but if you can just leave your phone in your pocket, you've basically done what you're after. Even the tests in reviews of asking for info on a place, i just have to say the name of it rather than saying "look at this" - this isn't a particularly big jump...

Stage manager with window snapping is what I think the iPadOS could benefit from. I use stage manager and my default is apps full screen, no permanent dock or recent windows on the left. It’s a quite pain to setup multiple windows every time I want to. Seeing macOS doesn’t have window snapping, I’m not very optimistic.

Can you guys please address the fact that the CEO ran an NFT scam right before starting Rabbit in a future episode? Last May they promised to deliver a "Quantum Engine" through this NFT company and that quickly pivoted into a supposed operating system, which eventually turned into "Rabbit OS". This needs to be a bigger piece of news imo.

That’s true, but even broken AAA games are essentially finished products (story and gameplay are pretty much done even if buggy). These “AI products” are barely passable as proofs of concept.

@@StarChaser1879 Both the Ai Pin and the R1 should be able to do what they promised in their respective introductions (they currently don’t). Personally, I’m not convinced that the core concept makes sense but had they at least delivered what was shown, they’d be “finished”. I think the Apple Watch is a good counter-example. The original had lots of problems, but it did everything that Apple showed it would: it was finished. Software updates made it better over time and discarded some core ideas (such as the Digital Touch thing) while focusing on the aspects people valued most like fitness.
