RAAS System Made Easy for Nursing Students and Nurses
The RAAS system stands for Renin-Angiotensin-Aldosterone System. When fluid volume deficit occurs (too little fluid in the body) a low blood pressure will develop.
The body doesn’t like low blood pressure and has built-in monitoring systems to surveillance the body and increase the blood pressure as needed. One of those systems is called the RAAS.

Nurse Sarah is the only person who has explained to me the RAAS clearly and simply enough to understand and remember. I have gone through med school, residency and now in fellowship and in practice, and I still come back to this channel to review the foundations.
