Swati Tiwari Srivastava born in a musical family where her father Advt. A.B. Tiwari and elder father late S.B Tiwari was a well known tabla player of Chirmiri, chhattisgarh. She learnt basics of Indian Classical Music Vocal from Guru Gopal Das ji in chirmiri C.G.
Further She started her deep musical journey in Varanasi. Where she came to get training under Ramashray jha "Ramrang" parampara and learnt nuances of Khyal gayaki from Pt. Ramshankar Singh ji for 5yrs.
In 2019, She came to Delhi for her advance training in Indian classical music vocal and became the disciple of Vidushi Shashwati mandal ji, who is renowned female representative artist of Gwalior gharana. Under her guidance, Swati is learning the deep nuances of Gwalior gharana style of khayal gayaki , Tarana, Tappa, Tap-khayal etc.
She has been Awarded with "Swarn Mayur Samman" - International award from Ras Banaras , Krishna Priya kathak kendra and "Best Female Singer" National award from Sur Sangam Sansthan, Jaipur. Awarded with 1st prize in Khayal gayaki, senior category from Sangeet Natak Academy, UP.
Swati has performed in front of PM Shree Narendra Modi ji in BHU, Varanasi.
She has been in "Top six Finalist" in TV Reality show "Swarn Swar Bharat", Zee TV, in 2022. She shared many prestigious stages with her guru like Tansen Samaroh Gwalior, Sawain gandharv Sangeet samaroh, Dwitya prahar- Grace Foundation Mumbai, 10th punya tithi of Swar Bhaskar Pt. Bheemsen, Hubli Dharwad etc.
She has also performed in many places like
Varanasi, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Mumbai, Indore, Dhadwad, Lucknow etc.
She is graduated in Bachelor's of Music Vocal and Master's of performing arts From Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi (Gold medalist in MPA). She is a junior Research scholarship Awardee. She is B-High grade awardee from All India Radio, Akashwani, Delhi.
Presently Persuing Ph.D in Indian classical music from University of Delhi.
