Wah... wonderful and very educative. Young lady I am 75 yrs young. And had a massive heat attack a decade back and I am with stent. Suddenly I got the urge to learn music and I am greatly benefited. I am a doctor having retired from army. Good show.

Bikash Dey A short aalap as an introduction then after singing sthai the alaapchari should be done stepwise starting from mandra till tear S.A..Then start the antara and proceed with the alaapchari of the taar saptak. This is the way the alaapchari should be done.

I am very thankful to Sarita Ma'am for these valuable lectures. I am learning from these videos and I have been using harmonium for my practice. Could you please suggest me which electronic taanpura should I buy for my future practices as I have heard in one of the lecture here that we should not use harmonium for practice of paltaas because we become dependent on it. Thanks in anticipation.
