I am a Malaysian and I don't speak hindi and I am 74yrs old. When l listen to these songs to the 1950s when I was 7yrs or 8yrs. They are soulful and touching. How I wish to go back to that era. Life was simple than.

Melodious voice of Hemant Kumar. 50's, 60's 70's had the best songs, lyrics, music they can't ever be replicated. Those were the best times to be born and grow up. Those carefree wonderful days will never come back however much digital anything we become. Debonair Dev Anand, lissome Nutan, Nargis, wow.

I am listening this songs from my childhood because my father loved the music of of 60s, 70s, 80s and surprisingly he knows about the every aspects of maximum songs like musicians, lyricists etc. Now,he is no more with us but these songs feel me that we both are listening to these music together. Love you Papa.

All these songs remind me of my dad. He used to be humming these songs with so much feeling as if every word of these was true..I miss my dad when I listen to these old songs..takes me to my childhood having him around

Most of these songs were possible because of Hinduism! I even listen some from Bengali. Many songs have root in Sanskrit - this made me interested in Hinduism. Now, i reverted back to Hinduism from Islam! Subhanallah! Jai Sri Krishna!

I have been listening to these melodies from 1960's and sung many of them for a musical association in my village during my college days and even now cherish the sweetest memories of some of them, especially during the 2020 and onwards, after my sweetheart left me.

I was posted in a village in punjab as a Medical officer in a remotely located health center far away approximately 25 kms from tehsil nakodar in jalandhar.I was bachelor in 1978 to 1985 only transistor was available and I used to listen old beautifulsongs.I still love this music so much that even after retirement i listen these songs.Soul touching songs alas those days of watching movies will not come back but I have very sweet memories of those days.

I am now 75 years old and I fell in love with Hindi film songs since 1960 but now listen to only songs upto 1970 as I feel there is no melody but only noise in today's music.

These r real songs which can bring out emotions even in senior ppl. That was really golden period and I am blessed to be a part of this beautiful era.

Soulful songs, my father listened to them on radio. Whenever I listen to these songs, I go back in time. The music, lyrics, everything is timeless...

I am a 78 yes old NRI. I have lived out of India for the last 55 yrs but these songs make me miss India and the years when these songs were new and craze for us teenagers.

I too listening these songs since 45years. Today my sons gifted me a Bose headphone on account of my super annuity .I’m fulfilling my desire of listening old music. Thank you my sons.

Each and every word, stanza - and above all so light music having a meaning. Unlike today's songs like Ramba ho ho ho, me nachu tum nacho, ramba ho ho ho. Thanks to Bappi Lahiri Sir. No meaning of words. Only heavy music. At the same time, young generation of date, likes disco DG and all alike setups.

I’m only 36 and these movies and songs long predate me. But I love listening to Kishore Kumar and Mohammad Rafi songs. This era is like Motown in America

when I was a kid rather a toddler in 1965-69...my uncle used to listen to Indian songs on radio early in the morning while getting ready for office..then in eighties, on roof top in my village, the All India Radio used to play old songs at 2200 hours...fantastic memories..

I was born in 2008 but I wish that old era where Radios were only way to relax, way better than these useless internet nowadays. and TV were very rare in villages, people used to sit together and used to watch Ramayan and other hows. :)
