Attuned are a unique trio where extraordinary musicians come together to celebrate the beauty of Indian Classical music and harness its power to bring people from different cultures and musical backgrounds together.
Manish Pingle is one of the world’s leading Mohan Veena (Indian Slide Guitar) players. This world-class musician is a disciple of Ustad Shahid Parvez, the renowned sitar maestro.
Gurdain Rayatt, a disciple of Pandit Shankar Ghosh and is one of the UK’s leading tabla players, having accompanied many of India’s most prestigious artists.
Completing the line up is electric guitarist, Jack Jennings. A disciple of Roopa Panesar and Shakir Parvez Khan two of the great sitar virtuoso of our time. He is known for his pioneering approach to the adaptation of Indian classical music for the electric guitar.
The Trio will take the audiences on a dynamic and exciting journey through the world of Indian Classical music. Whilst the music they play is in keeping with tradition, the innovative inclusion of the electric guitar embraces new timbres and melodic nuances without compromising the original spirit and intensity of the music. This is a rare combination of instruments and musicians from different backgrounds, celebrating the music that brought them together.
Attuned have performed across the UK with the top Asian Arts agencies such as SAA UK and Milapfest.

I love this! If I played it for a friend without the visuals they would have no Idea it is guitars. I think about the golden thread when listening to your music and the mystics traveling from Mongolia to meet Parmenidies, to carry the arrow to him so he could show us that the world is created in a dream. Not to mention Pythagoras, coming back from Persia with his new wardrobe addition "pants". To make music as an explorer, to hear sounds, bring them back and play them in a new place, this is grand!
