Hi Shelley, hope you are well. I have recently found your channel and love it and your great in your videos.. I'm a relative beginner here in the UK! Still getting to grips with the Exposure Triangle!! I have a Canon 90D with a 18-135 kit lens, 100-400ii and a Nifty fifty! 50mm 1.8. I normally photograph garden/local wildlife - birds, badgers at the moment and military jets before Covid......I'm interested in following a path in Equine Photography and seeing where it takes me from a part time hobby. My main question to you is what lenses would you recommend for your sort of work or have you already done a blog that I haven't seen yet. Keep up the good work. Keep well and big love from the UK. Shelly this is gorgeous! I recently upgraded from the 5D Mark III to the R5, the video is amazing on it. Do you find that the focus tracking on animal mode has been helpful? Or did you not use that for this video here and just Servo AI?

Hi Majken! I don't remember how I focused for this one, but I can tell you that focus tracking with horses is a hit or miss. I've been finding using a broader focus area (such as Large Zone AF: Vertical) gives me more consistent results, especially if objects come between myself and the subject. 😊
