Episode 2 video was lost. I will disassemble and go back thru how it is reassembled in another video this next week. And also set it up and tap some holes.
I've seen these tapping heads and always wondered what made them tick. Was cool to see inside yours!
Thank you Anthony very informative. Those are really pricey and you may have opened the door to saving some previously thought broken for good. My favorite kind of project nice top end tools thought broken sold to me and fixed by me for cheap.

I have had good experience using a hockey puck as a dolly and hammering off-dolly when taking waves out of the edges of thin sheet metal.

I live in Alabama I have no hockey pucks but if you want to send me some I will try them out never to old to learn new tricks. God bless Stay safe!
I had a heck of a time putting my tapmatic back together after I replaced the broken part which was the ring that all of those ball bearings under the springs are in.

Only problem i had Harold I did not have any Idea what the heck I was doing. But in the end it all came together. God bless Stay safe
I bought one at a deal off of E-bay. It is jammed up though and I need to take it apart and see what is going on with it.

Got mine at a real good price.And worked somewhat but made an awful noise. Now it is almost perfect. Thanks for stopping in and commenting. God bless Stay safe
just got one off ebay for £60 [approx $75] a bit tatty but works ok
