    Not really health since Covid been going down hill. Run out of air real quick . Play I. Shop 15 or 25 minutes and then back to the recliner to rest for an hour or so. But doctors can not tell me if it will ever get better. Thanks for the concern. God bless and maybe I can get back to videoing one day.

    Anthony, Made another comment on your project, loved it, I have a Grizzly G 709 gunsmithing lathe, do you know it the center hole of the cross slide is the same as yours.? I can check mine if you like, just wondered? Wait on a response, and keep in touch. 👍👍👍👍

    What a great Radius Turner, best one I've seen, few Q to ask you, I have a Grizzly G 709 Gunsmith lathe and love it, and think you might have a Grizzly also, I want to build one like yours. One Q is your cutter holder tapered or straight and only the bit has the taper, I think so, also was a little confused as to how you attached it to the cross slide, on the compound, sure wish you lived closer to me. Love all your knowledge you have stored up stairs.👍👍👍👍

    Thanks Jim i am trying to get back in the shop. Until it warms up it will just be on Warm days . Also can't cut in shop might burn the house down. So with the terrible wind we have been having no plasma time. I did get in the shop to make a corner finder for the ArcDroid. Pic on Instagram.

    Anthony --- I know a little bit about lasers.The unit in your video is a high end unit.That must have cost plenty of money. I'm impressed.Would you care to elaborate . Jim

    Hi Jim it is not a laser it is a Primeweld cut60 plasma cutter matched with the ArcDroid plasma robot. Thanks for commenting. Hope you and family are all doing well. Take care and God bless.

    @@psgflier it will not work with high-frequency start plasma cutter must be a blowback start. The primeweld cut60 was the best one for the price. About half the price of Lincoln Miller Hobart Hypertherm and other brand names. High frequency start interfers with the electronic of the ArcDroid. God bless have fun in Florida.

    @@psgflier the torch on the primeweld cut 60 is an Tecmo IPT 60.... and I bought a Tecmo PTM 60 CNC torch to go witn the ArcDroid. So as to keep hand torch with cutter and the CNC torch with the ArcDroid so calibration does not get off.

But just to cold right now .After covid cant stand a little cold. Doctor said that should get better as my body continues to heal. Just let me know. May have some days soon warm enough for shop time

    Just bought a 30X off ebay, seems to work, but loks like it had a pretty rough life. Looks like someone used channelocks insead of the handle, so I might turn the outer shell to clean it up and re-anodize it. One difference between the 30X and yours is that the 30 uses snap rings, but without holes so they are tricky to take out. I was able to unscrew the top pressure adjuster, which reveals the springs, so easier tosimply put them back in towards the final reassembly. Anyway, thanks so much for the video, now i can go the whole way with it!

    I have to tap a #10-24 hole tight in a corner of L brace. I can't turn a Tap handle or use a ratchet socket....I need a thin extender. Is there such a tool?

  • @RagsdaleCreek
    @RagsdaleCreek2 жыл бұрын

    I usually make a bushing that has a hole located the same distance as the hole to be tapped with a hole for the tap slip fit and locate it in the corner and use a Cresent wrench. Oe just be real careful and just use a cresent wrench by it's self

    The whole assembly appears relatively dry. I have grease oosing out of a s/hand one of these. Where do you read-off the torque that is set - there is no mark on the body.?

  • @RagsdaleCreek

    The Tapmatic has a indicator on the body to to show you where to set for the size tap. Setting it at the right mark have never broke a tap.
